We had reserved outdoor seating specifically booked through OpenTable, upon arrival we were greeted by the person who would end up being our server, she rolled her eyes when I said I had a reservation for the "deck/outdoor" and pushed us off to the hostess, which was fine, then you didn't need to greet us, we didn't search you out and interrupt you, but that's how that felt. She then couldn't really be bothered with us at any point after that either. The general feeling we got was that she did not want to wait on us and if there was a reason, I really wish I knew. When we were finally able to order drinks we had to stop her to also order an appetizer, she took exceedingly long to return after the appetizers were finished to take our food order, never cleared the empty dishes from the appetizer when the food came, didn't bring items we ordered, never once asked if the meal was O.K. or if there was a drink refill needed on 3 empty glasses, actually never came back to the table after taking our food order because someone else delivered the food, which in and of itself is fine, but then because she never came back, we sat for a long period of time waiting for the bill which we ultimately had to flag down another waitress to ask for. Was irritated that we needed for a to-go box for the remainder of a pizza. I would understand all of this if the restaurant was busting at the seams busy, but from what I could tell it was not. Unfortunately a table near us stopped us as we left to complain about the same issues they experienced with the same waitress. The food was good, the drinks were great, I wish I had been able to order more than just 1! Experience and the general atmosphere was poor due to the service received. We felt very "unwanted" there.

I was a little hesitant about ordering because the last time I went to SSC, my sandwich wasn't wonderful. Well, I'm glad we gave them another try!! I had the BBQ burger, cooked perfectly, loaded with toppings and lots of flavor. The beer battered fries were good but could have been cooked a little longer. My husband had the chicken stir fry sandwich. It was loaded with veggies, plenty of chicken and just the right amount of teriyaki sauce! Everything is pricey right now but the size of their meals are worth every penny. We'll be ordering again!! Thank you!

Was denied service and insulted by the bartender because he thought my ID was fake.. he looked at my ID for 2 or 3 minutes just staring at it and then me.. he then said “sorry little man, not today, that don’t look like you” .. i’m 26 years old and have lived in town for over 10 years, and have been coming to the sandwich company since before I even moved here.. the bartender then proceeded to give me this supposed “fake ID” back, which is illegal, would be a shame if someone were to call the ABCC about this, because there’s no way their staff is TIPS certified. I’ll definitely never go back. Hopefully they learn to train their staff.

first time here. food was so good - way beyond expectations! not many seating options as far as standard vs high top which is my only complaint. despite being busy food and drinks came out fast and everything was delicious. live music was an added treat. nice, low key, neighborhood vibe with quality of food way above the ambience honestly. this is great because i am low key, not into dressing up too much and the menu is extensive and unique and the ingredients were high quality and very fresh. definitely will be back.

Stopped by on a Thursday afternoon with my husband and we had a great pizza which was recommended by Aly, the bartender. We will totally be back. Aly is warm and inviting and she is the reason we had a fantastic visit. We really got to know her and let me tell you that Pizza is to die for!!! We will be back and we will be regulars.

We had a great dinner here. The atmosphere was excellent, a bit noisy but not bad. The view is great, overlooking Mirror Lake. Service was friendly and very fast! The Brussels sprouts and Ruben sandwich were fantastic! They make their own pastrami and excellence shows. The only negative was the nachos: Most of the plate was chips, minimal toppings and the cheese sauce tasted like American Cheese and/or Velveeta. bleh. We sent it back. But that was the only negative among a bunch of positives. I highly recommend trying this place!

Went to Specialty Bar and Grill with some friends for a girls'night out......food was really good, the tables outside were great, it was a perfect night for it, but the highlight, other than being with some fantastic ladies, was our waitress, Brianna! She was magnificent! She knew the menu, had a great personality, and was there when we needed her but didn't hover. Brianna was the best server I've had in a very long time! Overall, it was a perfect evening out with friends.

Nachos with BBQ sirloin steak made both my wife and I ill. We were both sick for the rest of the night - just felt lousy. They must have at least 100 items on the menu or more - it’s impossible that things are fresh. They should separate their bar/grill from the sandwich shop - the Bar and Grill could have 8-12 entrees including pizza and a few specials and everyone would be raving about their dishes. Fresh cocktails were good.

Great vibe - unfortunately my Fish and Chips were a major disappointment. The fish was the driest I'd ever had. The fries were underdone and no crisp to be found. The drinks were a great size. Wide screens, musician, outside seating. Definitely will go back and try again.
