Ate here a few years back and it was good but this was a horrible experience. The food was way overpriced for fried shrimp $35 and it had no flavor and fried haddock was soggy and undercooked. The bill was $92 for two people and only had 1 beer and 1 coffee with Bailey's. The coffee with Bailey's was $11. Will never eat here again.

What a great place. Owner greets you at the door. And it begins. Have been there once before in the warm weather and loved it because besides the food, which was on point, they let my ( well behaved ) dog sit with us outside. Tonight did takeout for six and between the cocktails at the bar while food came out and the nice guitar player, another great experience! Got to love a place where the owner is greeting you with a hardy smile and exuberant hello as she manages the restaurant floor!

I hosted a bridal shower here and it was perfect! Val was great throughout the planning process. Our day of coordinator, Abby was also sweet and very attentive to the guests. The food was fantastic and served hot. They also were very accommodating to a guest's dietary restrictions and food allergies. The room and setup was great. The only downside was that I was not told there would be another event occuring at the same time. The room was split in half for two smaller parties. There was a divider between us, but it was a bit loud and hard to hear speeches. Other than that, it couldn't have gone better!

Val's is our new favorite restaurant. They make you feel like family. Their menu has so many choices, and every meal we have had is wonderful!
