Such delicious, fresh food. And the cocktails are amazing! I would drive 45-60minutes for this restaurant, yet thankfully I live within an 8 minute walk. I love the intimate atmosphere. The service is great and they allow you to sit and enjoy your meal with no rush. Their take out is fantastic too. I’ve never had a quality issue with their take out. I love this restaurant and feel so lucky to live in Holliston.

This place is a quaint little restaurant in holliston Massachusetts. It has a very small menu but it's very big on taste and quality. Restaurant has very nice ambience, white linen table cloth and napkins . Superb service and very good food.The place is small, so make sure that you call ahead to make sure they have availability. Everything is cooked to order, it does take some time for the food to arrive, but it's well worth waiting for perfection.This is definitely a place that you will not forget. An excellent experience.

Food was delicious but overpriced and our waiter Dave was very rude.
The food was very good, although the portions were rather small, but the service was abysmally slow. We arrived 5-10 minutes early for a 6:00pm reservation, they took our order promptly, but we didn’t get our entrees until 7:10pm. With just a small bowl of olives for an appetizer. The place wasn’t overly crowded either. We asked about our meals at around 6:40pm and they said ours were next. Given that it took another 30 minutes for the food to arrive, they obviously hadn’t started cooking it yet. BTW it was only a salad with a shrimp skewer and a pork kabob platter. When we commented about the slow service to our waiter, all he had to say was “yeah, it’s not unusual for the wait to be over an hour.” Nothing in the way of an apology or an explanation. We won’t be going back.

My husband and I love this little place! We’ve lived in Holliston for three years now and love having date night at Bar Athena. The food is so tasty and fresh. We’ve introduced it to a bunch of our out of town friends and family and they all love it. We highly recommend it!
