We went to Carbones tonight. I got Prime rib and she got Veal Parm.The veal was delicious, cooked to perfection!I asked for my prime rib to be “medium rare”. I should have sent it back.It was not medium rare. The back side of my piece looked like it had been sitting in the juice cooking away , to the point of being well done.The top was pink (but just the very top). It was very tough and I wish I had sent it back.We were there early (4:30) I think it was left over from yesterday and warmed up in the Au jus.I asked if the roast was cooked today the waitress assured me it was roasted today , I don’t believe it.If that were the case , both sides of my piece of meat would have been pink. The other side of the piece was gray and hard, notPink at all! Well done! Not good at all!$27.95 was way too much to pay for that piece of Prime rib..,It was my Birthday and I was so disappointed…I have been going to this restaurant all myLife…. Never had a bad meal.Never again…..,☹️?

One of my favorite Italian spots. Not only is the food good but the ambience service and music is a night to remember. But pace yourself because you get a lot of food and every table gets a variety of bread, cheese salami and cauliflower that's all pretty tasty and worth trying if you aren't a fan. I love the Mario's meatballs and the lasagna is the best, even though they are famously known for the spicy rigatoni, oh and I can't leave out the veal Parmesan.

Had the baked haddock which was on special, oh my goodness, they outdid themselves! So flaky, shrimp in the stuffing, not drowning in butter, just the right amount. Fresh cooked carrots, and mashed potatoes... I had enough left overs for 2 more meals. Everyone else's food was terrific too, no one had room for dessert.Great place as always.

Food was good. Waitress forgot a couple items that were never delivered, but she was pleasant. Rugs have been removed which makes it loud. Rooms nicely directed. Much nicer experience.

The fried shrimp and roast potatoes are excellent ! Antipasto and hot fudge sundaes ? are great ! Been coming here for years. My parents have been going to this restaurant for over 50 plus years ! There favorite place to eat !

By far the worst experience I had in my life! The place looked and smelled like a nursing home but we still decided to give it a try. The service was horrible it took 10 minutes to get our waters. The food was disgusting and what makes it worse is that it wasn't cheap ! I paid $30 for jumbo stuffed shrimp and the stuffing was hard and looked like human feces(picture attached). I don't recommend this place to anyone.

This is great place for menu selection and value. Also its old fashion so its spacious and comfortable and quiet so you can talk. Being seniors this is just what we wanted; no TV, no music, and did I mention quiet. My wife had the lobster ravioli which was good but not great she said. I had the chicken parm dinner which was outstanding and so big I got a second meal out of it at home.
