Stopped in for a shared lunch of clam chowder and a chicken sandwich with bacon, lettuce and tomato, with fries. Both were good although I wish I asked for the bacon to be well done. The sandwich was large and I had to take half home for a later dinner.

The Hose Shoe Pub offers outstanding pub cuisine. Be sure to try the Shepherd's Pie, Lobster Bisque, Bourbon Steak Tips, and the Salmon Salad. All items on the menu were accessible, in contrast to a nearby local establishment. The Old Fashioned was prepared to order with Knob Creek and was exceptional. The service was efficient and courteous. The atmosphere was vibrant and festive. We received several custom-made mugs from Jack's Abby Craft Lagers. I look forward to dining here again.

We went to Horseshoe Hudson Pub after Hudson Fest with my whole family (12 of us!) and they still fit us in, which was awesome. The place felt super cool, kind of like a real gastropub—my mom and dad said that too. I was most hyped for the food. The ramen bowl was amazing, full of flavor. The hot chicken sandwich was crispy, spicy, and really good. The pastas were okay, not my favorite but not bad either.The best part? Dessert. The cookie with ice cream was warm, melty, and so good—I could eat it every time.
Very good! We got the Horseshoe Burger & it was excellent. Excellent quality ground beef is the key.

Food is typical American pub food. Had great service from Cassandra. She’s sweet. However the front steps are soooo dangerous. My sister fell completely while leaving the restaurant tonight and could’ve twisted her ankle or broken a bone. The handrail does not go down to the bottom step, the shingles for traction are peeling up and creating a trip hazard. And the bottom concrete step almost entirely blends in to the sidewalk below even though it’s a steep drop. Definitely not up to code. Please fix it before someone ends up in the hospital.
