It's a really awesome place to visit, the owner(s) should be proud of what they have created for their local patrons.

Unusual flavors! Chocolate avocado is my go to. Try before you buy!
Fantastic ice cream but the service is really exemplary, truly above and beyond. I was in town for a family member’s funeral and without knowing, Liv provided an exceptional experience for me, even writing an inspiring message on my shake cup. I’ve been in hospitality management for close to a decade, and my experience with Liv on Saturday is one I truly will not forget. Cheers!

$11 for this!
New city used to be one of my favorites. Unfortunately, it's quite sad how much it's changed over the last 2-3 years. When ordering 2 scoops, you used to get a nice huge serving that'd fill most of the plate, now they weigh the ice cream VERY precisely and give you micro-sized scoops. Soon enough you'll get golf ball sized scoops and they'll call those "scoops". Also, to charge $1 for a couple of measly spoons of cereal on top is almost robbery. At that rate, they've gotta make $50 profit on a box of cereal. Lastly, I don't know how many times I've had to remind the staff to give me the waffle cone I ordered on the side. I'll take my business elsewhere from now on.

Icecream tasted great. I got Baklava flavor and it was great. This place has your standard set of flavors and then a few interesting rotations like Baklava and Cannoli. Atmosphere is good and they create a good vibe with the music. They do have a limited staff at the counter. Though the taste is great, ice cream is pricey as compared to some of the other comparable places I’ve been too. And the price reflects less in the $$ amt and more in the size of cup. Overall, great and largely unique ice cream.

Tried this place twice now with two similar experiences, we walked in and there were 4 people in front of us. Took 10 minutes for someone to finally take our order. Depending on who you get depends on how much ice cream you get. Also if you get a bowl with scoops they are smaller in size compared to if you get a waffle cone. Flavor options are good very creamy and delicious depending on your preference. The biggest downside of this place is their inability to move the line and the inconsistency of their scoop sizes. I really feel this is overpriced compared to local creameries who offer similar taste for a few dollars cheaper and you won’t have to wait 45 minutes if you have 10-15 people in front of you.

Long lines at times. Lots of options. Hit or miss with good ice cream. Really depends on your mood or your favorite.

Our family came here based on the reviews and we all agreed we'd NEVER come back here again. Why?
1. The ice cream tasted pretty decent, but not out of this world. I've had better.
2. The sizes are so tiny, even tinier than the other hoity-toity or "bougie" places around Boston. They actually WEIGH the ice cream, counting the exact ounces they scoop into a tiny cup.
3. My wife and son both got "1 scoop" which was a crazy $6, but the person gave my son a "kiddie" size, which was even tinier than the 1 scoop (it was probably 3 tablespoons of ice cream), and when we pointed out the obvious difference in size, she started by defending the place saying the smaller scoop was "denser". To her credit, after a tense 15 seconds, she weighed the smaller one and admitted it was undersized.
4. At the checkout, the cashier asked us for the name of each flavor we got and entered it into the terminal. Ridiculously tedious when they have a long line of people waiting.
We left the place with an awful experience. I know it wasn't the ice cream scooper's fault, it's probably the owner for micromanaging the staff and not allowing them to just make customers happy.

Ice cream is okay. The service people are very nice but seem overworked. The atmosphere is great.
Biggest issue is they literally weigh every scoop. It makes it take longer and is more effort for the staff. As a result this will be the absolute slowest line for an ice cream shop you've ever experienced.
The quality of the ice cream doesn't justify the wait, but the atmosphere might.
Realistically 3.5 stars.
