Came back from a trip to Lisbon where we also visited the famous Pastéis de Belém, where pastéis de nata were invented. Amazing pastry! But perhaps I caught Silvia's on an off day, because my pastéis de nata purchased here were on the opposite end of the spectrum. They were wayyyy overbaked to the point where the crust was very burned. And the crust itself was overworked and very tough and chewy. Two of five stars, at best.

Gave 3 stars because the papo secos rolls were very good.

Great place to pick up Portuguese foods. No other places with same selection of foods from Portugal in the area

The bread is always fresh, and my favorite is the homemade bread. The girls at the counter are very friendly, and the atmosphere is warm, familiar, and positive.

I visited Silvana bakery looking for Pastel de nata, and calling ahead to inquire, found out they had it there. Upon entering, I was met with a warm and clean bakery, full of many baked goods that looked amazing. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. And the Pastel de nata was perfect. I would absolutely recommend and will definitely be returning.

Inflated prices 2 pastel de natas and 2 bolas and 1 small coffee $13 , A little upset about the quality of the bolas de berlim and pastel de natas. Second time coming here and they are ice cold. I’m assuming they were made previous day then frozen. If you coming for those don’t expect them to be fresh.
