The food, drinks, pastries, everything here is fantastic!!! It’s by far my favorite place to eat in Hudson for lunch and breakfast. Haven’t yet tried the dinner, but will try it soon.

Delicious hand crafted food, good drinks, great service, cool atmosphere. The waitstaff patiently explained the dishes and made recommendations without pressure. The cornbread is ridiculously good.

Although it got its start as a breakfast/lunch cafe this place is a hidden gem for a top quality dinner experience in a non-pretentious friendly atmosphere.
The menu isn't large, but is carefully curated offering a variety that should interest most. The ingredients were fresh and layered for rich flavor. The portion size is just right in that you can actually finish your meal and be satisfied with room to share a dessert (or appetiser) if you wish. Best part is despite the level of quality which exceeds many Boston restaurants the prices are quite reasonable.
Don't sleep on this, it is going to get discovered and will be difficult to get a reservation before too long.

Had great dinner and beer - from the cornbread with maple butter to the steak and gnocchi, the food was elevated brewery fare. The recommended beer pairings were perfect. Service was also warm and friendly. I like the way servers presented the food by briefly describing each dish.
It’s hard to describe the experience because the quality of the food and beer was higher end but not to the point of inaccessible. Our group of 5 shared the cornbread, wild hare, and brussel sprouts and we each had our own entree, and 2 full pours and 2 half pours. Our total bill was very reasonable considering the number of items and quality!
Vegetarian options: I had the beet toast. Delicious! It had a satisfying balance of flavors and textures and temps. The crunchy warm sourdough toast with fig jam, topped with mildly cool beets and home-made creamy ricotta topped with sorrel.

Visited the Wild Hare after apple picking with the family . Kids enjoyed the grilled cheese and hot chocolate, while the adults had the chicken sandwich, eggs with toast along with a ice coffee and beer. Great spot for food and drinks.

Having become addicted to their cinnamon rolls, I decided to try them out for lunch. The croissant was excellent -- not one of those bready fake ones but an actually one with flaky pastry. The egg samie was so good I kept thinking about it my entire drive home. Even the coffee was quite good.

Owner doesn't care a whit about his own business. I called to TRY to schedule a party and spoke to his wonderful staff who were knowledgeable and helpful, but admitted that it was unlikely that I would ever hear from their boss. Several of the folks I spoke to said some version of, "he just does that. I wish he wouldn't."
I visited the restaurant in person, left written, emailed, and phone messages and this guy just can't be be bothered.
There are so many hardworking restaurant owners out there that want your business (and I found a terrific place for my party). Don't give this guy your $$$.
Excellent meal!! The restaurant was moderately full when we arrived. The host at check in let us know that they were short-staffed for the night and only had one server. I was so impressed by their teamwork! Every member of the team was helping each other, running plates, clearing tables, and they all did it with a smile on their faces. And the service, after starting out a little slow, was excellent.
The drinks were wonderful, as expected with Medusa beers on tap.
The food was next level good. Every dish was creative and delicious. I would say it’s a little expensive for the size of the plates, but the food was worth every penny. I think they rotate their menu seasonally, but some not to be missed items are the cornbread and the gochujang caramel cookies. Every item came out fast, hot, and fresh. I was so impressed and will be back, hopefully soon.

My experience at The Wild Hare in Hudson, MA, began with high expectations. I'm in the Boston area for business, and I adhere to the mantra of "work hard, play hard." This place came highly recommended after a productive day, so the bar was set high - perhaps too high after my visits to Boston's downtown fine restaurants and bars earlier in the week.
I was invited for dinner, and what a surprisingly delightful dinner it was. The dishes, despite their humble origins, were crafted with the precision and creativity of a seasoned chef. Having spent time in northern Italy and west Croatia, the nearby Austrian peasant-inspired dishes, presented in an American mac & cheese variant, transported me back to my childhood - absolute perfection.
The totally unexpected Caprese salad variant, featuring peach instead of mozzarella over a ricotta spread, was simply brilliant. It was a refreshing and innovative take that I hadn’t anticipated. However, my choice of pairing the meal with beer tasting sliders was a slight overkill - that was on me. A good, simple red wine would have been a much better choice.
The staff at The Wild Hare works tirelessly to deliver a top-notch experience, but their broad offering of café, kitchen, and brewery seems to dilute their identity somewhat. It feels like they're trying to do it all, which might be stretching them too thin.
A strong call to the Hudson community to support this hidden gem is necessary. It was unjustly quiet on a Friday night, which shouldn’t be the case in a fortunate and cultured neighborhood like Hudson. This place deserves to be bustling with the good-standing and good-tasting folks who can appreciate the effort and quality being put forth here.

The Wild Hare Breakfast Sammie is fantastic, definitely one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. The cinnamon buns and cold brew are great too.
Beautiful location, great service, overpriced, average food in small portions. Beer selection only okay in comparison to sister company (although some of the beers seem to be unique to this location) , Medusa, and no mixed drinks.
