Ordered takeout. $18 + Tax + Tip for a bland, tasteless fish sandwich. The bun was soggy from all the coleslaw. The fries were even worse. They were cold, which is always a risk with takeout, but they tasted like they'd barely been cooked. Like they gave them a cursory dunk in the deep fryer for a couple seconds and took them out before they were done. I don't even know how you mess up fries that badly. Would not order from this place again.

Sunday afternoon around 3, looked like rain so we took the hosts advice and sat inside at the first level bar. It was filthy inside and the bartender seemed upset to be there. Juices and white wine left on counters, the bar top was filthy and remained that way even after we asked for a cloth to clean it. An open can of pineapple juice sat cut open at room temp waiting to give a patron botulism. We stayed for two drinks and an app, all awful, we left and went to another Gorgeous location nearby and had a much better time. It’s too bad, I try this place every year hoping it will be great.

We visited this beachfront restaurant and were truly impressed, largely thanks to the outstanding service from Eric. He was extremely kind, attentive, and always had the best attitude. His service made our visit even more special, and honestly, we’d come back just because of him.
As for the food, the sushi was delicious and fresh, the calamari was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender inside. The nachos and burger were decent, but what really stands out is the atmosphere and the warmth of the service.
A perfect spot to enjoy a good meal with an ocean view. We’ll definitely be back!

So I visited The Parrot for the first time today and I live in Hull. Visiting in the afternoon, you get an idea of how an establishment operates. Lot's of locals as expected but that's okay. So here is what I observed. Super friendly staff, and they make sure that you feel welcome. Bartender was very friendly and attentive. There were 3 young teenage ladies who welcomed patrons in and when someone wasn't walking through the door they seemed bored lol. I actually found that refreshing, because their faces weren't buried in thier phones and they were actually talking to each other. I did not try any food, but I have opted for thier take out to see how that holds up. My guess is that it will be very good since the Parrot family definitely cares about people and quality. That's tough to find today, so absolutely check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Not sure what these other people have been experiencing but we’ve been here 4 times and always get the nachos, margaritas and just tried sushi and all GREAT. Can watch the waves while you eat, service is friendly (jimmy) we love this place
