Food and service wasn’t the best.

Absolutely awesome experience! The food was delicious—every dish came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were so kind and welcoming, making the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. And the atmosphere? So fun and full of great vibes—perfect for a night out. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Nice little place to have some delicious food after chilling on the beach. Shrimp cocktails are huge!! Fries are hot and perfectly crispy. Will visit again.

I walked into Tipsy Tuna around 5:00 PM. The place was not busy at all. I was seated, and then… absolutely nothing. I sat there for over 30 minutes — 33 minutes, to be exact — and not a single server came to greet me, offer water, or even acknowledge I existed. Meanwhile, several white guests arrived after me and were attended to right away. Let me say that again: I was the only Black person in the restaurant, and I was the only one completely ignored. This wasn’t a matter of “they were understaffed” — they had enough people walking around, just not toward my table.
So here’s the truth: if you’re Black, don’t bother coming here. If this is how they treat paying customers who don’t fit their comfort zone, then they don’t deserve your time, your money, or your presence. Plenty of other restaurants in the area treat people like human beings — Tipsy Tuna clearly doesn’t.

What a great find!

The food was just not good, I don’t have much to say aside from that. Way too overpriced for the quality you’re getting.

The Connecticut lobster roll was a little over cooked. But the fried pickles were on point! By the way it was a pick up

Their website states lobster rolls are half off on Monday-Thursday after 7pm. I ordered well past 8pm thinking I had gotten a fair deal on a lobster roll only to find out upon arrival the website is inaccurate and not updated so I had to pay full price. I wouldn't have minded paying full price as much if the lobster roll was actually decent, but it was lacking in a lot of areas. Also ordered the crab rangoons which seemed like they were bought from a supermarket and put into a deep fryer. I didn't taste or see any crab meat, only a thin and watery cheese filling. The last thing I ordered was the fried calamari. It was very underwhelming. They overcooked it and only gave me tiny little pieces. The only semi decent items were the french fries and the pickle... which I think says a lot about this restaurant. My suggestion would be to advertise accurate prices on your website and not to overcharge customers for poor quality food. It is sad to say but this is obviously just a tourist trap trying to gain money from people who are looking for a bite to eat after a beach day and not people that are actually passionate about serving good food. These 3 items cost me $71 dollars and the quality was disappointing. Customer service was just okay, nothing special. I couldn't even tell who worked there and who was just a customer, because they were all dressed very casually.

Ordered a double Captains Lobster Roll for a birthday party at my home. The birthday girl and all of the guests raved about the meal. Beautiful presentation and large portions of lobster prepared just right, one half lightly dressed with butter and the other lightly dressed with Mayo. Sides of fries and cole slaw were also excellent. Best lobster rolls in Hull (sorry Jake’s….) Well done TT.
