Town Bakery institution for decades. Pastry excellent... esp cinnamon roles. Breakfast sandwiches handmade while you watch...with many bagle choices. A dozen coffee flavors. Very popular.

Was staying at Nantasket Beach Resort down the road for a wedding. Needed breakfast sandwiches and pastries to stock the bridal suite for a long day of getting ready and Weinberg's was a great option! They have an extensive menu of pastries, muffins, and bagel sandwich options. I called about 7AM and placed an order for 2 bagel sandwiches, a dozen muffins and croissants and everything was fresh out of the oven and ready to go when I got there at 7:30AM. Plus everything was delicious! The chocolate croissants were a crowd favorite.
Would highly recommend for anyone who needs to stock a bridal suite or just wants a delicious breakfast!

If you want a 16 year old to screw up your BLT, look no further. I never receive what i order here. I end up going back home and remaking my sandwhich.

What sets winebergs apart and makes it far and above the best bakery in the area is the consistency. It feels impossible to catch this place on a bad day or a bad batch, a coffee and a muffin you had five years ago is going to be the same as the one served tomorrow morning. It’s a lovely place that brims with quiet, deserved, pride. The sfogliatelle are the best anywhere in south Boston.
