It’s a really fun place and the food is good. Service was excellent but way too expensive for what it is. Two salads, an app and two non-alcohol were $110 with tip. That’s crazy ! I know it’s a tourist area but seriously??

Website prices not even close. Clam roll, maybe 10 clams, heavy coating, and maybe an ounce of coleslaw, think KFC, all for $38.00. Small and way overpriced.

Sitting at Baxter’s in Hyannis Harbor at sunset on a glorious September eve. Incredible sights to entertain on the harbor. Cool laidback staff, and Ryan, our college aged server is so friendly, efficient and accommodating. We ordered drinks and a fried seafood platter to share. Positively the freshest, juiciest clams, shrimp, scallops and haddock, cooked in the cleanest grease (obviously). This is the choice for authentic New England fare and waterfront dining. Add it to your list!
The staff was plentiful and the service was good, quick and friendly. The atmosphere (inside) was more reminiscent of a canteen. The food was delivered on paper plates with plastic cutlery — I can't imagine how much avoidable waste is generated here every day. Unfortunately, the food itself (fish & chips) wasn't particularly tasty, but the bill ended up being salty. It was the most disappointing restaurant visit of our week-long trip.

Baxter’s is a typical waterfront fish spot. It has all the usual things you’d expect. I had the steamers. They were good, but nothing special. The service was good, but we were there for a post-Labor Day lunch, and it was not busy. The outdoor deck seating is nice, and it’s a nice place to hang out on a sunny day or evening.
Very overpriced seafood dishes with small portions. Very disappointed considering this has been in business a long time and they can afford to give customers a better deal.

Great food, awesome location and outstanding service! Nice on a sunny day but great spot to hang and meet new friends when it rains. You can bring a boat and dock out front. Quintessential Cape Cod seafood.
Have been coming to Baxters for many, many years because it is predictably fabulous every visit. First time here decades ago, and continue to come for the consistently great food, atmosphere & staff. Shannon & Samantha are the best; if you’re lucky enough to have them as your server, you’re lucky enough! Highly recommend the fish bites appetizer & broiled seafood platter, but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Best seating is outside deck for water views!

Today, we went to Baxter, and I only have wonderful things to talk about. Starting with the impeccable service upon arrival, from Andrew, he is the best and super adorable. All the girls who served us were also super quick and kind, certainly an excellent staff. Regarding the food, we ordered fish & chips, lobster salad, calamari, fried oysters, etc... and everything was deliciously well prepared. The nautical atmosphere and the perfect weather just made a perfect day. I highly recommend it
