And the award for best new spot for home cooked food is Cape Deli. I met Silamar today and we talked about home cooked food, family recipes, and I ordered two amazing options off the menu. The first one, pastel, had a baked on cheese on top, with pulled chicken and a savory gravy like filling. And second is pao de queijo, a biscuit with a cheesy doughy center and a nice crust on the outside.These were spectacular and I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu. They just opened and make the food fresh daily.
