This is a place which has dramatically stepped up its game in the last year. The food was excellent and presented with grace and pinache. The service was clearly well trained and supervised including the bus boys. I would highly recommend for a regular meal or a special occasion. A great location made better by new management, including the welcome one receives at the front desk. Excellent.
Had a very nice lunch at the Captains Table yesterday. Expertly served by our decades long friendly Bartender Mark. Cocktails and food were excellent.
Vegetarian options: Not sure but the menu changes.

We arrived early and enjoyed a cocktail in the dining room by the window on the harbor. It has to be the best restaurant view in the Town of Barnstable. The waitress was friendly and very efficient. Rolls were served, water glasses filled. We shared a stuffie and then had fish entrees and another friend had steak and frites. The fish was fresh and well prepared. The steak was done just right. Coffees were served and a crème brûlée shared. It was a relaxed and very enjoyable...
