What a lovely experience we had last week! Staff are all so refreshingly welcoming and attentive. Elise, our server, was great and helped guide us to excellent food and wine selections. Everything we tried was delicious and so beautiful on the plate. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. It’s easy to see this place really cares about their customers, which can be rare these days. Bravo!!

I've dined here twice, extremely delicious and well planned dishes. I've met the head chef and come away both times with an amazing experience! Will be coming back

Closest thing to a hidden gem in this area as your going to get. Friendly warm atmosphere, interesting fun food executed at a high level. Worth it.

Absolutely elegant food, delicious and unique in its own way. I had the Duck and my wife had the beef and both were so good. Drinks were sooo good too. Both host and Staff were very friendly. The owner Tim DiSilva was kind enough to stop by and check on us and say hello. This was our first time there and we are looking forward to our next visit ?

Lovely atmosphere. Excellent cocktails. Apps and entrees were nicely prepared and artfully plated. Flounder dish was exceptional. Service was a bit spotty butUnderstandable for a small town.Hope this place makes it. We’ll return for sure.
We've enjoyed this restaurant for date night, as a family of five and more recently with friends to enjoy the tasting menu night. Every time has been excellent!

Couples night out for dinner. Nice atmosphere, quality service.....the food was incredible. We weren't rushed, plenty of time to sit and talk as appetizers, salad and mains came out with nice pauses in between. The food is definitely THE best in the area - Gloucester, Beverly, Essex, Hamilton, Manchester, Ipswich, Newburyport. I am pretty sure that we have been out to just about all of the restaurants in those towns.Monkfish wrapped in prosciutto with mushroom filled ravioli - awesomeFlounder with braised cabbage and pickles lemon - anazingThanks for a great night.

BSB is, by far, the best restaurant on the North Shore.
The BEST restaurant on the North Shore, hands down. Perfect date night destination.

I'm from the UK (sorry locals) and I found this to be the best dining experience I've had on the North Shore (and Boston). Having visited family here over the last 20 plus years, I've come accustomed to good quality food and generous portions and service, but fine dining at a good price point is something I've never really experienced, until my visit to Brown Square Bistro. The flavour combinations are excellent and balanced. The wine list and service are also great. All this at prices that won't make you worry. The chef trained under a 2 star Michelin chef in the UK and it really shows.
