I go for the seafood (fried clams or scallops). Downside, you can't get a combination clam/scallop dinner, but either choice is excellent. I order my choice with just onion rings; both the seafood and onion rings are not at all greasy. The seafood platters are delicious, best in the area!
I usually go here for lunch. Mostly on a Monday . Jen the bartender is awesome. So nice and great at what she does. Today I went for lunch when Reagan was working and she is just as wonderful. Great service and food. Lol. Ordered the scallop plate. Im pretty sure that's a meal for at least 3 people. 😃 Love the Choate. Old school New England.
The staff were so friendly and extremely on point , the food was delicious and well portioned, couldn't be happier , we all left with full stomachs and smiles . Very clean and comfortable place to eat and enjoy conversations ,
