I will say it was very busy but that is no excuse for the host to be rude and not very helpful. We had to get our own chairs when we had reservations and were sat at a table without the correct number of seats and left us standing there. We ended up finding our own chairs to be able to sit. Waitress was very nice and food is good. I would say train the host better because it doesn't give the customer a good feeling to start off with a rude attitude like we did something wrong...
Fried haddock from Gloucester was very fresh and delicious. Guinness was fresh and well-poured. Winter punch drink was yummy. Bang bang shrimp was tasty, but I was expecting crispy sticky shrimp instead of a creamy sauce. The shrimp were a good size, though. We would go back again! Loved the cozy atmosphere.
We go to the fox creek pretty regularly. The menu is a bit limited so you run out of different things to try if you go frequently. With that said, the food is good and pretty consistent in terms of quality and the prices are reasonable. The service is always good and the server accommodated my request to turn a Caesar salad into a wrap which was not on the menu. The bar is always prompt with drinks.
