At check in we were greeted by your housekeeper who helped us bring our muggy up to the 2nd floor Manning room. This was most helpful since I am handicapped and walk with a cane our room. The Manning Room has been beautifully redone with a pretty new bathroom and King bed
I will be visiting again again my daughter lives in Ipswich

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at The Ipswich Inn. The room was super comfortable, the oversized bathroom was unusually large and comfortable. The shower excellent. The location is central to the downtown area. The remote but very high touch service was phenomenal. I only stayed for one night but would highly recommend The Ipswich Inn to those coming to this quiet, lovely seaside town.

Lovely comfortable room and we enjoyed the games in the common area.

Wainwright room was great. We have been coming to the inn for years ( have family in the area) and are happy with renovations. Common areas really nice. Miss having breakfast included but cost of running an inn must be a lot. Wish you luck.

Heard about the town of Ipswich, and were looking for a good place to have breakfast before we started sightseeing. Read good reviews on the Ipswich Inn, and we’re grateful you didn’t have to necessarily be a guest in the hotel to dine, so we did. The ambiance, service and variety in the menu were all good, but the food was simply delicious! Felt like it came straight from Grandma’s kitchen. If you’re in Ipswich, don’t miss out on the opportunity to experience it yourself too.

Beautifully refurbished inn. Rooms a thoughtful put together and the overall feeling is New England elegant. Rooms was spotless and cool upon arrival despite the 95 degree heat.

We were sad that the cafe was closed following the July 4 weekend which is why 1 less star for service, though the hosts were readily available via text. That said the Sand Piper Bakery is a short 3 block walk and offers all kinds of treats and coffee.

Key coded doors made check in and out easy.

The inn has ample parking, quiet area and great location for New England costal touring.

Highly recommended. My wife and I were in the area doing some genealogy research and picked this inn as an overnight. The room and bed were very comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. We had a great breakfast, and the staff was very pleasant. We recommend that you explore the local streets. The homes in this area are spectacular, with some houses dating back to the 1600s.

The room was small, but clean & cozy. Perfect for the one night we were there. The bed was very comfortable and the surrounding area was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay.

No parking; no staff on site; evidence of ongoing renovations everywhere; carriage house room…2 of 3 windows had no screens; operating the window blinds & TV…good luck; sounds of power tools working on the ramp Sunday morning; when leaving, there were cars parked against our doorstep making it very difficult to get out! No AC? IF EVER, THERE WAS A PLACE THAT NEEDED SOMEONE ONSITE DURING CHECK-IN…THIS WAS IT. We arrived 1 hr before our wedding date 8 minutes away, but we couldn’t park anywhere, or figure out where our room was…so we were late…so mad! Just a one and done for us, but good luck to anyone else

Highly recommended! Lovely stay in this carefully restored, beautifully designed Inn. Easy, contactless check-in and communications, delicious cafe for breakfast right next door. Will definitely return; construction almost complete and it’s going to be a stunner.
