We loved our stay at the inn, we stayed in the Staniford Quarters and had plenty of room for four of us. The location was easy to find and quiet, our rooms were comfortable, staff is quick to respond to any requests, and the Ipswich inn cafe was DELICIOUS! Would definitely stay here again! Only note I have is that we did get stuck on Halloween night not knowing all the roads surrounding the inn get blocked off for trick or treating, not a big deal but a good fyi for the future.

This inn is lovely and definitely has more character than the boring hotel room I was in before arriving in Ipswich. My room was clean, comfortable and I would definitely reserve again at this delightful inn!

Ipswich Inn is within walking distance of downtown and it was a delight to walk the narrow and cobbled streets of this very old and quaint town!

A 10! I can tell so much love has been put into the redo of the Inn. It has been done so well. You truly have such a sweet place there. We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, the decor, the over all vibe of the Inn. We felt right at home and felt the nostalgia of the town as well. Loved the convenience of commuter rail station in town, we walked each day to catch the train. Will highly recommend! Two suggestions- maybe a couple of bottles of water in the rooms or a water bottle filler in the main area and possibly a small fan in the room. Thank you for a great stay!

We loved our stay at Ipswich Inn! We had lunch at Ipswich Brewery right down the road before checking in a little early after submitting a request. The room was awesome with our own bathroom, kitchen sink, beverage cooler, and coffee maker. All essentials were provided such as coffee, dish soap, and sponge. Bed and pillows were comfortable and window ac unit cooled room efficiently. Location was perfect for a close by wedding venue. Would recommend and would stay again to explore area more!

We thought this place was absolutely awesome. Very clean, private. Very well run and everyone Very friendly. Very modern rooms but still has the historical charm throughout. Breakfast just a few steps down the hall. Very close to all historical places we enjoyed visiting. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

At check in we were greeted by your housekeeper who helped us bring our muggy up to the 2nd floor Manning room. This was most helpful since I am handicapped and walk with a cane our room. The Manning Room has been beautifully redone with a pretty new bathroom and King bed
I will be visiting again again my daughter lives in Ipswich

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at The Ipswich Inn. The room was super comfortable, the oversized bathroom was unusually large and comfortable. The shower excellent. The location is central to the downtown area. The remote but very high touch service was phenomenal. I only stayed for one night but would highly recommend The Ipswich Inn to those coming to this quiet, lovely seaside town.

Lovely comfortable room and we enjoyed the games in the common area.

Wainwright room was great. We have been coming to the inn for years ( have family in the area) and are happy with renovations. Common areas really nice. Miss having breakfast included but cost of running an inn must be a lot. Wish you luck.

Heard about the town of Ipswich, and were looking for a good place to have breakfast before we started sightseeing. Read good reviews on the Ipswich Inn, and we’re grateful you didn’t have to necessarily be a guest in the hotel to dine, so we did. The ambiance, service and variety in the menu were all good, but the food was simply delicious! Felt like it came straight from Grandma’s kitchen. If you’re in Ipswich, don’t miss out on the opportunity to experience it yourself too.

Beautifully refurbished inn. Rooms a thoughtful put together and the overall feeling is New England elegant. Rooms was spotless and cool upon arrival despite the 95 degree heat.

We were sad that the cafe was closed following the July 4 weekend which is why 1 less star for service, though the hosts were readily available via text. That said the Sand Piper Bakery is a short 3 block walk and offers all kinds of treats and coffee.

Key coded doors made check in and out easy.

The inn has ample parking, quiet area and great location for New England costal touring.
