We have lived in Ipswich for more than five years and never went in this place, largely because they never seemed to be anybody in it. It must make its living on takeout, but that’s a bit of a shame – we finally went in for dinner last week and it was actually quite great. Very authentic Thai food, well made, very flavorful, and well presented. Whoever is in the kitchen really knows what they’re doing. We actually enjoyed sitting in the dining room as well, though it does feel a little unfinished. A few more touches would really make this place outstanding.

BE WARY OF ORDERING TAKEOUT!!! Ordered food online at 7:06 pm. Got a confirmation email saying it would be ready 7:21-7:36. Got there at 7:40. There was a line of people waiting to be helped. No one in line had been acknowledged for over 15 mins. I asked those waiting in line. I, along with others, waited until 7:55 and was still not acknowledged. I left. Called over and over until someone picked up after 5 attempts and just left the phone on the counter. Called back and got off hook tone. Still not acknowledged. Ridiculous. Hard pass next time I'm ordering Thai takeout. Now I get to deal with cancelling the order via my credit card company since they won't acknowledge me in person or via phone. ROYAL ORCHID in Rowley it is! Bit more of a drive but Better food and Superior customer service!

This used to be on our take out rotation, all the food was good. I particularly love the soups.
However we went to place an order only to find that prices have recently gone up significantly, over 30% in some cases (looking at my past receipts from November 2024 the pad see ew with crispy chicken and baby corn was $18, that same dish is now $24.50, drunken noodles increased by $3).
Also deducted another star because on more than one occasion we've had items missing from our order.
Total bummer, going to miss going here.

While visiting Ipswich, we stopped at Spice Thai Kitchen for lunch. The staff were lovely, friendly people. The food was so fresh and perfectly prepared. It was the highlight of the day and worth the hour drive to Ipswich. Really excellent.

Food was delicious, I shared a basil fried rice with a friend. Very well seasoned, perfectly spiced, rice was not too dry.
Menu said $15, but I was charged $16.50. I was told this was new pricing that wasn't reflected in the menu yet. While this wouldn't have necessarily changed my order, I was frustrated this was not communicated at all until /after/ the bill came.

Delicious. Best Thai I've had in years. Larb was spot on. I'd order the crispy spicy basil chicken again and again and again (not too spicy but not under-spiced either). Service was fantastic.

Best Thai food I’ve ever had. Food was absolutely amazing- we got the beef w/ basil, fried chicken rice, shrimp pad thai, scallion pancakes & the dumpling soup. Can’t wait to go back!

Spice Thai is nostalgia for me. We drove here 12 years back on our exploration with friends. Food was great. And it is still great ! So many times I have had my lunches here with various colleagues on later years. Never disappointed. Amazing staff and location !
