We are visiting Plymouth and this was a restaurant that had good reviews. We were seated. Drink order taken and never saw the waitress again. Someone else brought our food out. The food is not what I ordered, I ordered penne with chicken and broccoli and I got chicken parm. Never was asked if we needed a drink refill. I had to flag down someone else for a check. We had driven 11 hours and just wanted a nice meal. Very disappointed

Second time ive been to this location and been very disappointed. Tried again to give another chance but wish I hadn't bothered.
First issue was part of the order was missing. When we called to get the item refunded the first suggestion was to drive back to pick it up. They did refund though when we said no.
Second the food quality, like the previous time was poor. Food lacked any taste. The bolognaise was essentially just ground beef in a pink sauce with unmelted cheese on top. Pasta was overcooked.
Its a shame as we used to enjoy Mamma Mia's but we won't be coming back again.

Just got home with my meatball sub. Awful, Literally the worst meatball sub I have ever ordered. One bite is all I have taken. Tasteless. This sub goes out the window for the critters. I have had good food from this place, that is why this is such a disappointment.

Waitress forgot about us, app came out after 30 mins cold. Place is small cozy and newly redone. It seems they care more about takeout than the 10 tables inside.
Have had pizza here several times which was good. Ordered a chicken parm sub and onion rings recently. The sub was very bland, had few chicken tenders. Could only taste the greasy batter of the onion rings. Cannot recommend.

My first time at Mamma Mia’s. I ordered online never being there. When I got there to pick up my order I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. Lacks curb appeal, but once inside it was magical and super cozy. A small bar and quant dininjng room and the staff exceptionally attentive and super nice. I will definitely be returning, and next time eating there.
I was in Florence last week and had lunch at their namesake. Equally as magical.
