Great food. Great staff, including management, who not only is always helping patrons but is very supportive of her staff. The environment is warm and welcoming. I make it a point to stop in every time I am in the kingston area to get the Italian cookies for my mom.

First, the sammies. I never expected to find an Italian Sub or a Meatball sub this good from such a cute little place. The owners sure know their ingredients! Fresh, delicious and LOADED sandwiches are clearly their way to show the love.Second, the ice cream. Holy cow this stuff is good! Clearly a premium product but not one overloaded with sugar or extra dairy fat to hide no flavor. This stuff is DELICIOUS! The strawberry ice cream tastes like actual fresh strawberries. The chocolate ice cream has all the nuances of top quality chocolate, even that cold. The add ins in the novelty flavors are plentiful but not overwhelming so the rich, creamy flavors of the ice cream still come through.Third, the portions. Enormous. Come hungry. (They could charge a lot more but we aren't going to say that out loud, are we?)Fourth, the people. As a former restaurant owner, I know what it takes to provide such fantastic food and that can take a LOT out of you. The people here act like you are their only customer and your closest friend. The owner is incredibly helpful and kind and patient and clearly delivers that top-down excellence that is so rare in the food industry.We would walk uphill both ways in the sleet to get anything from Nino's and if you haven't visited them yet, you are sorely missing out.

Whenever I'm craving an Italian sub I'll drive an extra 5 minutes for it! One of the best on the south shore, for sure.The homemade goods in the freezer are great, always tempting to grab a few things while waiting for a sub. Cannolis are great too.
I'm crazy for fly fishing fudge, in a dish with colored sprinkles and a cone. Always great ?

Ok so today I tried the roast beef sub. Just mayo and provolone. It was a nice medium rare and a ver generous portion for $10. Smell those house made pumpkin cookies! OMG. Ok so I'll get something sweet next time. Service was great!

I love Nino's to death. It always helps me whenever I need a small snack, a drink, or even a slice of pizza. However, the cashier is the only part of the entire store which I cannot handle. When I walked in, he seemed annoyed to be getting business. Then when I asked a question, he treated me as if I was stupid, and not as if I am a customer. I was able to get over that, but when I pay with Apply Pay, he grabs my phone and decides to tip himself without consulting me about it first. Another time, he tried to gossip to me about how the students which go to Silver Lake are annoying. I cannot return with that man there, as he has taken money from me and disrespected me along with other customers. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I strongly encourage you to go to Nino's; just beware of the cashier.

Very nice little place to stop for sure. They are using some of the best deli Meats on the market in there sandwiches. I only know this cause I worked at a deli years ago. U definately get what u ask for and very friendly staff. If ur in area check it out
