Got the Chicken Lo mein and Pork Lo mein- both very bland had little to no flavor. The beef teriyaki was very chewy. And egg rolls not very good. It did make my partner and I both sick. The bathroom was dirty. The outlet was held together by scotch tape and my partner was sitting next to an outlet , where it was pretty much a whole in the wall. People are very nice but I will not be returning.

Food was very bland, only the chicken teriyaki and orange chicken had any flavor. Place was a little darkly lit. Style of the place was kool. But nothing special about the menu

Very good mai tai and I always get the salt and pepper chiken teriyaki. They have live music back again and sometimes comedy. Go for ambiance and a fun time

I used to go to this restaurant frequently as the staff was wonderful and the food was very, very, good! It had been a while since I'd been there and the first time I'd tried it under the new ownership it was a let down. I'd ordered take out and was very disappointed with the chicken wings, which were so over-cooked that they had to be thrown away. I did try it a second time, but asked the woman at the desk to please ask the cook to not over-cook the wings as that had been a problem the first time. The woman who took the call suddenly became angry and snapped at me; something I'd never experienced with this restaurant before. She demanded my name and telephone number in a hostile manner which bothered me! The next time I called, I ordered several items including the chicken wings again. The moment I gave her my name, she took on an angry tone of voice and virtually yelled that my order would be ready in 30 minutes, and slammed down the phone. That REALLY. bothered me. The piece de resistance happened on October 21 of this year. I called in an order and gave her the first of my hyphenated last name as it is long. When I got to the restaurant, she asked me my name and I gave her the name I had ordered under. She suddenly started yelling "That is not your name!! "What is your telephone number??" When I gave it to her, she screamed, "Your name is "X" not "Y". At this point I was horrified as the was creating a scene and I no earthly idea as to why my name was such an issue! I I told her I had a hyphenated name as she screamed more, including something in her language which I took as swears but who knows? I have never, ever, been treated like this in my life and it appears that my comments about those chicken wings weeks ago didn't sit well with her. But a scene in the lobby in front of everyone? Really? I have never, ever, ever been treated like this in any situation. I don't know what her real problem is but taking it out on me was outrageous. I have lived in this town for almost 50 years. The family who first bought, and ran, the Royal Garden were absolutely wonderful! The food was wonderful. I loved going there. Today the food is a complete disappointment; nothing like it was when the Lee family owned the restaurant. Much earlier I'd commented in a private conversation with the owner that I'd been disappointed in the food there, and he told me he knew, and getting good people to work there had been a problem. Problem? Really? Good Lord! The person at the front desk sets the tone for the entire experience. No wonder they are having financial problems. There is a very nice Chinese Restaurant in Duxbury. I can recommend it!

I'm not sure where the waiter was that used to be there he was wonderful. We were greeted with no interest, did not have enough silverware ;was not asked if we wanted drinks ;was not served tea. We were not checked on.Beef teriyaki was not cooked through neither were the chicken fingers. Place is different.
