Went there with my 3rd THU diners club - we had a great time. The food was ok enough to try it again. Calamari- tasteless. The pork belly app - delicious. Serves 3, small tacos like mini wraps.
I got the short ribs- beef was fatty, taste wasn't as good as ive had it before. One of my party members got the cod and he loved it. The othe one got the seared tuna and also enjoyed it.
Hostess was very accomodating. Waitress was very attentive.
Drinks were weak.

Solstice is the kind of place that makes you feel happy the moment you walk in. The food is exquisite, the staff is so friendly and kind, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. It’s truly the best spot to go for a special meal or even just a cozy night out.

On behalf of all from Pecks Flooring, thank you for an exceptional holiday dinner. From the beautifully decorated entrance to the cozy private room, everything felt warm & welcoming. The seating was intimate, the staff was professional and thoughtful, and the food was perfection. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stopped in after our son's football game. Lively bar crowd on a Friday night and the unfortunately takes away from the atmosphere because it's a small place. I had a burger and it was thick and juicy. My wife had the fennel sausage flatbread. The flatbread was overwhelming covered with sausage so if you wanted to taste the cheese or sauce you were out of luck. Service was good and I would be willing to try again to try some of the other entrees.

Skillet potatoes were undercooked. Potatoes were hard. The $68 bone-in ribeye was delivered lukewarm and was a bit undersized. We were a party of eight and most were unhappy with the food.
One steak was sent back because it was cold and that got returned and wasn't even that much hotter. Salad quality was poor and had wilted lettuce. 2 people ordered a pasta dish that was good.

Solstice has remained one of the best fine dining destinations on the South Shore for over two decades. The specials are always fresh and offer a variety of tastes. I usually choose anything seafood. Formerly a train depot, the interior of this brick building offers a warm and comfortable environment. Solstice is great for date nights, hanging with friends, or celebrating special occasions with family. You have to make reservations most nights as it gets busy around peak hours 5-8pm. Parking is sometimes tight as the parking lot is oddly shaped.

I’ve been twice now. The staff every time is so friendly and welcoming. The vibe of the restaurant is wonderful and the history of the building is awesome. BUT the winner is the food. The filet was cooked to perfection, and literally melts in your mouth. Paired really well with the Gorgonzola butter. The coconut cake is absolutely outrageous! It’s the only place I ever order dessert!

We found Solstice on our way to the Cape from Boston and are so glad we did! The ambiance is wonderful and the history of the building adds to the charm. The food was excellent and the sides were almost better than the main dish!
Had a great evening at Solstice! The food is excellent and portions were so large we altered our original order plans after appetizers. Can’t wait to go back and try the things we passed on!

A Hanger steak should be flavorful and tender but if a customer returns a sliced Hanger steak and it is recooked it comes out dry, overcooked and tough. This is how it was served last night. As a career Chef it is unbelievable that any Chef would allow this to come out of his kitchen!

My husband and I finally made it out for a date night after 3 months (we have baby so dates are rare) we picked solstice. Unfortunately we had horrible service and were waiting over 20 mins just to find the waiter to order a new drink. We also ordered our food then proceeded to wait over 40 mins for it to arrive. Because we couldn’t find our waitress we had to go to the hostess to ask her to find her. When the food did come out my $55 filet was scorched. It was so burnt I couldn’t even tell what I was eating. I was hesitant to say anything but did and sent it back when she insisted it would only take a few minutes. 15 mins later and once my husbands meal and our sides were cold it came out. At the end of the day, even with a new steak. It just was not good meal, not worth the $55 ticket price. I would have maybe spent $25-30 on that steak and been ok with it. My husbands was overcooked as well, also scorched and tasted burnt and just overall not a good piece of meat. He got the veil shank. At the end of the meal I anticipated some sort of compensation would be taken care of- either a meal/ side comped or dessert because of how poor our experience was but the waitress offered nothing. One of the worst meals I have had in over 5 years. I live 2 mins away and will never come back.
