Was a regular customer here for over 15 years through a couple of ownership changes. Food has always been good, however recently the place has gone downhill. Food is still ok however the service has suffered from mismanagement. Owner/manager treats the staff poorly bordering on abuse. Until this changes I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I’m going to tell you one thing: this place four years ago was a great restaurant to come and enjoy. My wife and I enjoyed many mornings here. NEVER again. Just recently had a cold sunshine special- garbage. The owner a few years back ( fall of 2021) was the coolest individual. I guess it is new establishment with HORRENDOUS TRASH they relinquish. Never going back to darkness cafe

Good food here and reasonably priced however, there is a $1.00 fee for all credit and debit cards...........................let the buyer beware.......................sorry not for me, go up on your prices a little bit...........................

What a way to ruin a nice Sunday morning! Ordered take out from here and was told 30 mins. My fiance arrived at the 30 minute mark and it still took another 20 mins to get the food. I ordered a Portuguese breakfast sandwhich and the eggs benedict. I have never had a Portuguese breakfast sandwhich that was a dried up old omelete between an english muffin! Threw it out right away. Eggs benedict was edible but horrible presentation and not much flavor. The homefries were the only thing that was good out of my meal. Waste of $40 will not return

I accidentally left my wallet at Sunshine Cafe. The honest, friendly staff kept it safe for me until I could pick it up the next day. This demonstrates the integrity that this business upholds. Of course, additionally, the food was delicious, plentiful.l & served hot. Our wonderful, sharp waitress was the one that found the wallet & kept it safe. We ended up eating there the next day which was equally delicious. The 2 waitresses the second day were very cheery helpful & wouldn’t even accept a reward—Heroes in my book!!
Highly recommend the Sunshine Cafe! Food was delicious, portions large, service friendly and efficient. Prices were very reasonable. Very good quality for the price!

Great place service was you awesome atmosphere was great everyone there was very nice and polite welcoming The only thing I can honestly say that wasn't the greatest I guess the food still very good just didn't make me want to go to that place on a Sunday morning first but definitely clean nice environment. I want to make this clear the food was good but could use a little more kick on just about everything lol thanks

Has to be the worst breakfast and experience ever. Its a small place. You might think meals would be flying out of the kitchen at a fast pace. NOPE! Waited and hour for our food. People who were at the booths before we got there were still waiting for their food when we left. The waitresses were even overheard complaining why its taking so long for their customers to be served. I ordered the steak and veggie omlete. "THE COWBOY"Dont get it!! The so called steak is just microwaved steakums chopped up and thrown into the omlette. The hash browns that i ordered was one of those 12 pack frozen 2x3 " hash brown patties thrown into the microwave until it was hard as rock and thrown on the plate. Oh and the only reason my wife and I got server after an hour was because we complained about the wait and told them were paying for the coffee only and leaving. They told the so called cook and she rushed it to us in the next 2 mins. Otherwise we would still be sitting there. We sat at the counter, where the front of the counter was falling apart. Wood broken off. Dirty!! . Worst ever!!!! Never again!!!!
