I purchase a cake šŸŽ‚ hoping to try to find a great Dominican cake. Unfortunately, I ordered a caramel cake and I got a sponged cake that tasted more like an American cake with zero Dominican flavor. My family and friends decided not to eat the cake. First and last time. I am sure they are nice people. The cake is not to the standard.

My mom has ordered a ā€˜Dominican Cake’ from this place which turned out to taste just like CORN MUFFIN, if I’d read the reviews before, I’d recommended another place.

Curbside parking is limited, but customers get serviced in and out quickly before the parking patrol comes round.

They have damaged the dough, it doesn't taste like the Dominican one
And the sigh is artificial, they don't sell fresh šŸ¤®šŸ¤®šŸ¤®šŸ‘ŽšŸ‘ŽšŸ‘Ž

Yesterday I went to a birthday party where they bought a cake here. The baddest sigh I've ever tasted. Bitter. I was thinking of buying here because I love Dominican cakes but I'm not crazy!!!! I've never tasted anything so bad.

I feel more than satisfied with the work he did, the cake for my wedding was super beautiful, just as I asked for and its delicious taste, the guests couldn't stop talking about how good it was and that they had never eaten a rich and fluffy cake. Thank you Carlos Cake. May God continue to bless you j

I bought a 3 leches cake and a dessert in a glass and both were damaged, they were already sour ā˜¹ļø desserts don't last forever, if they don't sell them don't keep them in the fridge for a long time ā˜¹ļøā˜¹ļø the service is good tho

Excellent attention, responsibility and dedication when making a cake.

Went in for a tasting and fillings were good but cake was rancid and rotten. They work with a lot of milk and tres leche textures that could mean refrigeration isn't appropriate.

There isn't anywhere to sit for a tasting. Even when I made an appointment, they were unprepared and Carlos was not there.

The guy who did receive us and gave us a tasting of the fillings was very nice. It's not his fault the cake itself wasn't good.

The girl who served us was very friendly, our problem was with the pieces of cake they sold us. After my wife started eating the cake we realized that it had mojo in it, causing food poisoning. The containers do not have stickers to know when they expire, this place seems not to be following the state regulations, if they did an inspection TODAY, they would surely not pass it, very irresponsible.

I don’t usually write reviews in fact this is my first one. All I have to say is that this was the worst cake I have ever had in my entire life. It’s crazy but I honestly wish I could have my money back. I ordered a 1/2 pound cake for my friend and requested the words ā€œfeel better ā¤ļøā€. Please look at the picture and tell me that it isn’t a kids hand writing. When I first opened it with my friend next to me, I was beyond embarrassed. And the funny thing was that the writing wasn’t the worst of all. I know good cake when I taste one and this was smothered in simple syrup which is the liquid they put to keep it tasting sweet and fresh which to be honest didn’t do it justice because the cake tasted like old garbage. I don’t want to get into the frosting because it was disgusting, not fresh and tasted horrible. There was more frosting than actual cake and I’m a big fan of frosting especially Dominican frosting. This one wasn’t it.For anyone who disagrees with me I recommend you try a cake from sweet grace heavenly cakes or Yeska cakes in Lawrence. Truly the best cakes out there. They taste beyond fresh and the Dominican frosting is more than likely homemade. There other frostings also taste just as good. This was my first time trying Carlos cakes and I thought that by the pictures they were going to be good… yeah no I was wrong. I got nauseous after eating the cake.Side note: if you’re Dominican and want a caramelo cake. Order from somewhere else. All they do here is mix frosting with milk and sugar. I nearly through up.Whoever made this cake please take some baking lessons and I mean that in the nicest way possible.
