The owner and her sons are charming. They have a wide selection of different kinds of pastries, reasonably priced. I got 4 squares and a cupcake for $19. I would come back for authentic Dominican cakes.

Never again. Went there for my birthday cake, charged 210$ for a 1/2 pound cake. A girl went up to Carlos (the owner) and asked how much to charge saw that it was my first time ordering a cake and took 210 out of my account. Told my grandma my grandma got the money back but I’m guessing the lady there told Carlos that there is a woman that looks like she never ordered before in Spanish thinking I’m not fluent……. Carlos literally came to see and had a smirk… and I had a friend who told me about this place and she got a tres leches cake with literally a little toy in it for a first communion and the cake was 3 pounds and she only got charged 65$? My design was not even that hard literally a white and black cake with music notes as you can see in the photo… ya never again got the cake from another place only charged 50$ and the cake was amazing so I highly don’t recommend this…

Food not that great and the only take cash telling you that the debit card is broken but the have a ATM in the place so for me that is a scam. The quesitos where old. For me it was not the best experience.

Stopped in right before they closed. Got the tres leches and caramel cake and both were very good!

I will not recommend it - They have very Low to zero accountability for their mistakes. They forgot to add the guayava filling on my cake, and the other filling they made it up, and tries to convince that it a new recipe to justify adding more foam ( Supiro) in the center.

Wow, very disappointed in this Dominican Cake I got from Carlos Cakes on Water Street in Lawrence. Looks like the cake was cut In half before frosting and why so uneven on the layers and so dry 🤬😤👎🏼 To much frosting and pineapple in the uneven parts 😡 won’t ever be going back to this place. What a waste of $45 I would not recommend this place

Great location, I had a small coffee and a pineapple pastry. The pastry was delicious :) I don't remember there being seating available.

The cakes are delicious here. The designs and theme decorations are amazing. They also have other menus available like sandwiches and natural juices. It's a great Spanish bakery.
