Excellent modern Caribbean food. The yucca fries with fresh guacamole were crispy, fresh and balanced by the fresh salsa/pico. The bacon wrapped plantains were succulent and juicy, with an interesting sauce that tasted a bit like tamarind. Finally, the paellita was enough for two to split, and the mussels, calamari and shrimp were cooked to perfection. Finally, the friendly, attentive service, and the numerous regulars who were warmly greeted by the waitress and manager, speaks volumes to the attention to quality of this restaurant. A new gem in Lawrence. Enjoy.
