This was our first time. Although it was the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday the place was very busy. Staff didn't always speak English but they quickly found someone who did. The food was excellent and we were well taken care of. Definitely worth going back. Surprised to learn they have been open almost 10 years but until they started to list on OpenTable we had no idea.
Really nice place. Very accommodating staff and reasonable prices. A nice reprieve from all the expensive restaurants in Santa Fe. Relaxing and pleasant place with easy park less than a block away from the city.
Surprisingly decent. Friendly, relatively attentive service. Food was mildly flavored, but not bland. Cocktails were very good—well balanced.
It was nice to be able to talk and hear each other. The food was good (not great). The service and environment were a little disappointing.
Ate here twice in two weeks and enjoyed each meal. Staff is very friendly and it is definitely worth trying out. Nicely casual. And the Oxacan tamal and barbacoa are outstanding.
The waiters were friendly but not very efficient. We waited a long time for service and to get our ticket when they were not very busy. The food was just so-so. Very overpriced for what we got, but that is our experience in Santa Fe. We will not go back to this restaurant next time we visit.
This is a VERY casual mexican food restaurant. The staff was nice. The food was good, but nothing extraordinary. The restaurant was clean.
Great food - very tasty - great service - friendly and helpful - would definitely recommend!!
The restaurant was very attractive and joyful in the Mexican colorful style. The staff, in all areas were outstanding and helpful. The food however was quite bland for what we are used to eating. It could be what we ordered. Fajitas were very plain and ordinary with no salsas to spice it up and apparently no spices on the meat and vegetables. Not that we are spicy folks (Colorado gringos), but even for us it was plain Jane.
The food was good, service ok, but when you ask for salsa at a Mexican Restaurant and they say they don't have it, that is Bizarre. We saw when people ordered the 6.00 chips and salsa they got it but just asking for salsa to go with your fajitas they don't have it, we even asked 2 different servers. We were out of town so probably wont ever go there again but that was a first ?? and if we hadn't already finished our meal before they finally told us I would have raised a little more stink. I would have been happy to pay for it but they said twice they don't have it so unfortunately the server's tip was adjusted from 20% to 10%.

We had some of the best Tex mex of our entire trip here. Very flavorful and well presented. The tacos were fresh and tableside guacamole is a must here!
All 6 of us were delighted with our experience. The waiter was attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. My shrimp plate was made with no chilies just as requested. We definitely recommend them over the other Mexican restaurants in town. On nights when they have entertainment it is very noisy.
Great menu decor art service. Difficult access for mobility impaired. Inoperable restrooms in building
Disappointing visit to La Fogata, which we usually enjoy. They were out of multiple menu items. In the end, we settled on fajitas. The meat for both the chicken and the beef was overcooked and dried out. The portions were very small for the price point. We left feeling let down.
Had an 8:30 reservation on Sat night & we were one of only two occupied tables in the whole place. It was very clean, the service was extra friendly, and they never made us feel rushed even though it was clear we were the only thing keeping them there. Our sope appetizer & cochinil entree were delicious. The grilled shrimp entree was okay but not memorable. Piña coladas are $16, even if you get them in a glass, so we got them in the pineapple and that was fun but probably not worth $32.
