We had a birthday party with ten people at the Claddagh last Thursday and everything was top notch. Mary was our waitress and I remember because that’s my name. She was excellent. Got all orders correct even with substitutions. Helped us decide on what to have. Had an A+ attitude and I felt very welcome there. They let us bring in our own cake and we had lots of laughs.
I organize dinner gatherings all the time and the Claddagh made it easy for me with their smiles and accommodations. Everyone I was with was pleased with the service and food.
I go there probably once a week and every time I walk in the staff always says hello and has a smile in their face. That my friends is good Customer Service.
So happy they moved the Claddagh to Methuen’s.
Keep up the good work.
Mary

Wife and I went on Friday around 5. Placed two orders. She had salmon with broccoli and salad. The salmon was nuked and dry. The broccoli looked like it was taken from another plate it. Only stems and cold. Salad was wilted and had black lettuce on it.
I ordered steak tip Syrian pocket. Had to throw out the bread as it was stale and hard. Waffle fries were cold. We waited over an hour for this meal. Not good. 47 bucks for a lousy meal.
This is our third visit as I always give the chance of a one off experience but all three times were not good. Three strikes and I’m out. Thanks to their waitresses as they are the only good part of this place.

The best rueben sandwich in the Merrimack valley! Delicious and generous portions of home made corned beef, crunchy sauerkraut on fresh marbled rye bread and homemade Claddagh fries! Yum!!
Stopped by here yesterday for the first time after a long day of travel. My husband and I sat at a high top, it took 15 min for anyone to come to our table. We were met with a smile and an apology for the wait, I asked for a drink menu as we were never provided with one when sat. The waitress brought it and we proceeded to wait another 10 min for anyone to come back and take our order. At that point we had waited so long, we ordered drinks (wine and beer) and our entire meal at once. Philly spring rolls for an app, the steak tip meal with a baked potato and the Mac and cheese. The app came out relatively quickly and was good. The waitresses switched mid meal and the 2nd waitress brought our entrees after a long wait. The steak tips were supposed to be medium. Instead, they were more than well done, difficult to cut and chew. The baked potato was cold. I ate absolutely nothing and when asked if I wanted a box I politely said no. The waitress took so long to come back over it was not even worth telling her how awful the meal was and she didn't seem to care enough to ask why nothing had been eaten.
When the entrees were first brought to the table I ordered a basic grilled chicken wrap with honey mustard to go. We were still waiting for the wrap well after the food was taken and the bill was paid (35-40 min). No one came back and we had been there so long by that point, we just got up and left. We dropped over $130.00 dollars and left hungry. Honestly, some of the worst service and food weve ever encountered. We had high hopes and were thoroughly disappointed. We wont be back.

Started a new job locally and popped in there for lunch, the waitress was very attentive, & quickly served me. The sandwich was abundantly filled with homemade corned beef. Had not had an authentic Reuben in a very long time. It was extremely tasty and the french fries were hot. Took half home. Definitely will be back.

I have been going to the Claddagh since my early 20’s and was sad when they had to close their unforgettable original location. Myself and friends made many memories there we will have forever. I was excited to learn that they re-opened where the old Fireside was as myself & friends used to go there as well. I like the new atmosphere now 20 years later coming to the claddagh a more laid back place where kinda seems “everyone knows your name” type of place. I have a friend that still bartends there and I had a great meal there with my husband. We were welcomed by the owner and we def will be back. It’s a great place to watch a game, hang out with friends, listen to some music with a simple menu everyone will find something they like. The fries are my fav! Good luck with your new space! Congrats & cheers to another 20 years! 🍻
Food is good, but they clearly cater to dine in vs. takeout. Waited hour for food, got a $25 gift card for my trouble but you have to speak up in order to get it. Also didn't appreciate the manager throwing other employees under the bus and not taking accountability for the mishap.

My husband and I will order take out from the Claddagh from time to time. On our most recent order several weeks ago, there were some items missing. When I called, I spoke with Brian. He went so far as to offer driving the missing items to our home. What?! Talk about Customer Service!!! We told him it was absolutely unnecessary, mistakes happen. Knowing how far he'd go to make it right was enough in our book. He let me know the next time we placed an order to go, to specifically ask for him. Well- we did so tonight. Low and behold, he stuck to his word and absolutely made things right. The food is delicious as always but the Customer Experience/Service is what makes it great!
