Ordered clam chowder (decent; on the thicker side)
Italiano Stromboli (excellent; definitely hit the spot and then some; exceeded expectations)
Elk Burger (Excellent; one of the best burgers ever eaten; exceeded expectations) with fries.
Fries are an extremely easy side but these were so good!
Definitely a hidden gem! The food was phenomenal. Service staff extremely friendly, busy establishment which is always a good sign. All age groups observed.
Prices very reasonable. Party of 2 ordered a house margarita and a bud light (bottle).
Entire tab cab to around $65.00.

Would absolutely visit again if in the area and 100% recommend.

Marisa the bartender was awesome, she made the best espresso martini I have had in this area. Friendly staff, great food. We will be back.

Love coming to this place. Just a few minutes off the turnpike, and it is set in a Victorian house in the middle of your classic postcard New England town. The menu is big enough to offer a wide variety of options, but small enough that you know they take care and make sure the food is good quality. Everything from strombolis to elk burgers to pasta dishes. Good drink selection, too. And if the weather is nice, dining on the wrap-around porch is sublime. Aside from the occasional tractor-trailer, not very noisy, unless the fire station up the road is called.

The good was decent. Personally I didn't think it was as good as the price would suggest.

We just stopped here for supper, while traveling through...and it was excellent! We both ordered burgers which were cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the Elk burger... he's still talking about how good it was! The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. Our server was helpful, kind and efficient. We truly enjoyed this restaurant and plan to come again!

This place is a local mainstay that is almost always open. The food is great, the staff are usually very friendly, and they're often open when everyone else is closed.

This quaint restaurant in an old house has all the cozy vibes you are looking for. Service was attentive and answered all of our questions without hesitation and judgement. We ordered an assortment of appetizers and they came out quickly, hot, and fresh. The sesame teriyaki wings were a good size, crispy, and well sauced. The jalapeño poppers were more cheesy, less jalapeño than expected. They were fried balls of cheese with chopped fresh jalapeño. Sauce was good, however I think the sweet jam from the mozzarella sticks really balanced the cheese. The giant pretzel was the size of a dinner plate, and served with beer cheese and honey mustard. The original intent was for the pretzel to be covered in a 7 seed blend, when we asked for no seeds it was not an issue. Mozzarella cheese was two large slabs of fresh cheese deep fried and served with a sweet jam. It needs to be eaten hot, as it cools quickly. The coconut shrimp were fairly large, well breaded, and covered in the sauce. You may want to ask for your sauce on the side. Truffle fries were crispy and delicious. Great place to have a lunch with friends or a date.

This was my first time at the restaurant. the service was great. The atmosphere was good, although it's quite small so it made it hard to have a conversation over the noise. i thought the food was just ok typical tavern food. i had the mozzarella and pesto sandwich and in-house chips. It was fair.

Had a meal here before we set off for Monument Mountain. The food is lovely and the service was friendly and very quick. The salmon with risotto was my favourite; the others were great too.
