The food was good ..the chaufa was delicious but a bit salty. I enjoyed the ceviche. Service was good... friendly and no-nonsense. The atmosphere was clean and chill...cafe-like

Alpamayo is a great spot with a diverse menu and lots of options to choose from. The food does take some time to prepare, so it’s better to call ahead. The chicken was excellent, and the avocado salad and fries were especially wonderful. Overall, a very enjoyable meal and worth the wait.

I’ve had Lomo Saltado before and this one was well seasoned and delish. The flan was really creamy and good too. Customer service could’ve been better with a smile.

The food was decent, and I appreciated that the owner took the time to come over and greet us. I did feel that the portions were on the smaller side for the price, especially considering all the dishes we ordered. Unfortunately, the waitress who served us came across as a bit rude and not very friendly, which took away from the overall experience. We were traveling and happened to come across this restaurant, so it was a little disappointing not to feel more welcomed.

This unassuming restaurant had both absolutely wonderful seafood and kind service. We were so happy to visit!

I want to take this moment to give my review of this fantastic restaurant that I went to for the first time. It's called Alpamayo Peruvian Cuisine. It is located in Lee, Massachusetts, and it's a Peruvian restaurant. The food there has tremendous flavors and bold tastes that are very unique, and very pleasing to your taste buds. I thoroughly enjoyed the dish I had—it was a seafood soup. It had a very unique taste. You want to eat it all the time.
This is a must-go-to if you're in the Lee or Berkshire area. The service there is excellent. I think the server’s name was Maribel. She was a very knowledgeable individual who provided a lot of information regarding the food and how it was prepared. She was also very helpful in telling us about other spots in the area that we could visit.
It was a great experience overall, and I want to thank the owners. Thank you!

Service was very slow, took about 45 minutes for ceviche (appetizers) to come. And then main course came about five minutes later. It was a Saturday evening, but 45 minutes for ceviche seemed a long time. When food arrived so Kwai octopus was very disappointing. Two pieces of octopus on top of three have potatoes and sauce. The sauce was delicious, but the octopus was definitely not worth the $18 the ceviche was OK not amazing. My husband and I shared the ny strip steak and it was very good. However, the fried bananas we ordered were terrible overly ripe and not edible. My sister had the swordfish it was OK. Overall, I will not come back.

There’s a lot of cool stuff on the menu, but for us the Peruvian appetizers looked the coolest. We ordered a bunch of apps to share tapas style and we were not disappointed. The beef heart, and the octopus were stand out dishes.

Went here while visiting the Berkshires early August, it was recommended by the hotel receptionist.
Very good! Greeted us nicely, gave us a choice of good seats in a dining room with a lot of wood and Peru-related art.
Good cocktail, served with a little cup of that roasted corn for the table to munch on. Very good main dish, lomo saltado, the Asian-style sauteed beef and veg and rice that is a Peruvian mainstay, came with french fries in it as usual but just a few for taste, at other places sometimes the dish comes with way too many.
Overall very glad we went there, in a downtown block with other restaurants and stores, right on Main Street/Route 20, just half a mile from our Housatonic Street hotel.

we got the fried yucca, fish taco, and arroz chaufa con pollo. way overpriced for rice that was good but tasted like i made it in my mom’s kitchen. plus the portions were pretty small; the $6 order of yucca had about 8 pieces
