Skip it.
D'Angelo's is great, but the Lee location is terrible. They don't pick up the phone ever. They don't fulfill the orders correctly. They're sloppy. It's just not worth the trouble.

It’s fine if you want a big serving of attitude from the counter help.

My husbands steak sandwich was pathetic. $10.99 for a loaf of bread. Barely any meat

Went into this location at the rest stop, Eastbound Mass Pike, as I approached the counter I was told quite rudely by the obviously lazy employee that they had nothing but pizza left to serve! Of which there were 4 slices of random configurations! Hey D'Angelos why not just close this location as you have the majority of your locations throughout New England!! Why bother?

Turkey used to be high quality here but no more. Just crappy deli meat now.

The bread is so dry, it falls apart. This was my first experience with a D’Angelo sandwich. I have no desire to have another one. I like moist soft bread and this isn’t that. Everything else with the sandwich was fine. Service was fast, but seemed to have that philly attitude.

Had the Korean BBQ sandwich, and despite what I thought were reasonably low expectations, it managed to disappoint. BBQ sauce was standard american variety and the cheese was cold and unmelted. Cashier was extremely helpful and friendly though.v

Drove from upstate NY heading to Boston. Passed many rest stops but we were all excited for our Steak and Cheese! Walked in at 8:10pm to be told,” Just so you know we only serve the Papa Gino’s side after 8:00pm.What? It’s says 9:00 closing. It says 9:00 on your website? It’s 8:10 . So we had a choice of slices of cheese pizza or pepperoni pizza both looked like had been there a few hours. Bought cheese and wasn’t even given the choice of having it warmed . Terrible, cold, dry pizza. We looked again online and no where does it mention only pizza served after 8:00. Very disappointed. Couldn’t blame the employee of this is the Dangelos policy. It just should be clearly stated…. Didn’t have anything posted even at the restaurant itself.

I got a vegetarian sub. I wish they had asked if I'd like it grilled. The grilled veges and hot cheese were so yummy, but it caused the bread to get soggy. Grilling it would have made it perfect!

I am sorry I cannot remember the woman's name who helped me. She was so kind and professional. She asked my name for food pickup and addressed me by name. I felt special...it was sweet.

The restaurant was in a travel plaza so I cannot say the atmosphere was awesome, but I gave it a 5-star because of it's convenience.

As a first time customer, I had a mix up on my order. I was disappointed to say the least. I brought it to the managers attention and she went above and beyond to make it right. I am now a satisfied first time customer and BC of her and the experience I had with her, I will be returning in the near future:)

I go to DAngelos every time I’m in Ma, love the food but this time I ordered a chicken teriyaki rice bowl and got a chicken teriyaki soup, when I politely asked for it to be corrected the cook started running his mouth dropping F bombs like they were candy, after getting the corrected meal (teriyaki on the side) the cook said “here’s your F ing food have a Happy F ing New Year”, I asked the manager to get the cooks attitude in check and she said “ I’m the F ing manager and you need to F ing leave”. I will be reporting this to corporate because neither of them should be in the jobs they are in!!!

The lead employee here had a complete disregard for basic respect for people. This is at a rest stop and people are trying to get home after long rides - who wants to have the cashier be rude, arrogant and dismissive? And then hold my food (which was paid for and ready) and purposely not hand it over? Next time save yourself from a headache.
