The Rout 20 location has the freshest fried chicken!
Located within a gas station.
The manager cooks everything FRESH before you take it home!

This was sooo good. The gas station attendant made my food fresh right in front of me. It was clean, food hot and fresh, and yes in a gas station. Worth the stop if your in Lee and have the munchies. I Googled food in the area passing through, and the reviews said best chicken in town. I went for it, and BAM...it's a hit.

The chicken, biscuits, sides, and shrimp were amazing! We loved it. On the site, there was fish advertised as part of the menu but when we got there it wasn’t offered. That was disappointing. We also wished they had their own place or even a sit down restaurant - it was basically a corner of a convenience store gas station. In any case, the food was amazing!

krispy krunchy chicken slaps 🔥 got mac and beans/rice on the side, it was just what we needed 🥰
If I could do a 3.5 star that’s what it would be. The chicken was ok salty oily but that’s fried chicken. The biscuit was good but the mac and cheese was not so good. It was cold and watery wasn’t microwaved enough. The original sauce was ok as well. Overall just ok nothing special but what do you expect

Ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich, supposed to be ‘ big size ‘ was literally 3”in diameter, WITH JUST A PIECE OF CHICKEN INSIDE and 2 pickles. No condiments, no onions, no nothing. Not worth the 6$ !

The food was cold, and the chicken sandwich was mushy and chicken finger chewy. Waffle fries were delicious gamealaya great and rice and beans pretty good. Very Expensive. Get better.

Just a bit lower than what you’d expect from a gas station. Had to replace a Cajun chicken sandwich that was grainy, and most of the food was cool. Great waffle fries. Jambalaya and rice and beans had good flavor. Probably better when warm. 3 is generous but it had potential and my 8 yo was in charge of the rating so pallet is still in development.

We stopped here after reading all the rave reviews. What was not clear from the other reviews is that they do not have a running kitchen. They have a few menu items on display (that are presumably cooked earlier in the day?) and you can buy those until they run out but they do not make anything fresh upon ordering. We had the chicken tenders and Fried chicken. Chicken was well cooked, breading was crisp. Fried chicken was a bit salty but otherwise good. The biscuits were standard but they were just regular biscuits, not honey biscuits as advertised. Overall a decent meal for the price, points deducted for the lack of freshness and very limited menu (vs what the menu advertises).
