This review is 9 months overdue. Out to dinner with a few friends in the wine business. 4 days before the Vid hit. The elk was dynamite. Jim is....well....Jim. Like your favorite uncle. If you know about the cellar, this is 5 star review territory and nothing less. 1979 Burgess, 1981 Le Pergole Torte and a 1983 Ducru Beaucaillou. The Castle is the crown jewel of New England. Treat yo self fool!!!

I ordered the "game special" which was antelope with mixed veggies, corn and wild rice. I've NEVER had antelope and didn't know what to expect except that it might taste like venison. It was delicious and not gamey at all. Top notch meal, nicely presented and nice atmosphere. Waiter was good but a little snotty when my friend asked for salt to season her pasta dish.
