Two margaritas and you're done. Absolutely delicious. Fresh and you can tell they care about the drinks and food. I will go there for guacamole twice a week! The quesadilla is the best I've ever had. It's huge. Best in 20 mi..

Best Crab Mofongo and Rabo (oxtail) I’ve ever had! Finally a great spot to share an authentic Latin meal that serves great drinks and a vibrant atmosphere! 10/10!

Ordered shrimp ceviche and it was the laziest thing I have ever seen. Whole shrimp with tails on them, whole fajita veggies in a watery broth. Have ordered it before and it has been better. There is a lack of consistency with the food. It is amazing or horrible and lazy.

Stopped in for Taco Tuesday. Great server, very friendly, food came out quick nothing to complain about. The Tuesday tacos are what I call little gringo tacos. Taste great but I prefer authentic al pastor, carnitas, or carne asada tacos, which they also have on the menu! Lots of great menu items to try. Will be back again to give the mofongo a try.

This place did a great job accommodating a party of 16. Had no issues separating the checks and the food was good. The vibe there was even better.

This place is amazing, food is not only delish by lit you can taste the freshness. Service is amazing, always attentive to the minimum detail. My regular drink is the skinny margarita! I try to taste something different every week, today we went with the “lengua de vaca” (beef tongue “ and mondongo. Both served with generous portions of rice and tostones. It’s always a pleasure to come in! Never disappoint!! And yes they do include the 15% gratuity in your check, but who cares when you get only the best food and service!!?? I don’t, and always try to double that tip

READ ANY FINE PRINT AND REVIEWS BEFORE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU’RE GETTING INTO WITH THESE TYPE OF PEOPLE. READ SNARKY OWNER RESPONSES AS WELL FOR ADDITIONAL DETAILS.
Today we chose to give this place another chance after its unfortunate decline with service as a result of the business ownership switch. At its prime, it was a bustling MEXICAN restaurant with amazing service, great music, lively folks and decor, and free inclusions such as a plethora of chips & salsa, & even delicious homemade soup. However, everything mentioned including the menu itself was completely different. I’m talking a 180 switch into Dominican vibes and food. That’s fine. We ordered a round of drinks for our party of 6 and got some frozen salsa, before we realized we had a family emergency and had to go to our relative nearby. We informed our server who seemed upset, angrily grabbing our glass cups and saying he’ll bring the check. We quickly finished up our drinks, to find a whopping 40 dollar charge on sodas. Astronomically insane. Red flag number one. In a rush, one person signed, paid, and we left. Upon looking at the total when we arrived at our destination, we were unknowingly charged a 20% gratuity. I think it’s interesting the first snarky point the business makes is they didn’t force anybody to stay. That’s the issue, WE DIDNT. We left. We ordered no food, only water and sodas, for a whopping $40 charge. Upon looking at the photos, the gratuity info is in small font below the FOOD menu, which, again, we ordered nothing from. In even finer print is said info on the receipt. To assume that every consumer has the time to carefully inspect each and every receipt given throughout their lifetime is a sorry excuse for deception. Again, I’d ask these Dominicans to use their head for a second for critical thinking and not scamming. The point of, “if something bothered us, we should have spoke up” is illogical because we left very early and profusely apologized. An important point to mention is WE DID CALL. We noticed the charge and the person who paid rang to express their unhappiness and concerns. The female server reiterated over and over that it was in fine print on the menu and receipt, and that there was nothing they could do because the manager wasn’t there. Again, interesting this business gives pointers to relieve a bad customer experience but doesn’t follow through. We did everything by the book. We noticed the charge, called and communicated kindly, and even then were told to suck it up. It’s almost comical the story this business spins on their attitude ridden reviews, which mind you, says all you need to know about who’s wrong/these kinds of people. We’ve been dining in the area, experimenting and trying out everything for YEARS. Not once did a restaurant knowingly deceive customers with fine print gratuity though they claim this is a common practice. I disagree and encourage others to find out for themselves. Prices rose while service and vibes went down. Don’t waste your time with this sorry excuse of a place. P.S. Last time we went, we saw a few cockroaches on our way out in front of the host stand, so keep an eye out for health inspections!
