Being a NJ native, I have high standards for Chinese take out lol I found this hidden gem and will not order from anywhere else. I've tried several other Chinese takeout restaurants in the area and they were subpar and disappointing. Last time I ordered from China City, they accidentally gave me the 6 piece crab rangoon instead of the 10 piece I ordered. I informed them of this and when I ordered again today, they included an extra 4 pieces of crab rangoon and some free egg rolls. They are great!

Drove a little further than usual for this place they had stellar reviews. The service was fantastic friendly had a conversation with me and others as they came in. I could tell this was a neighborhood place that people frequently visit based on the in depth conversations.
I unfortunately did not like the food. I got a beef and broccoli combination plate with a side of crab rangoon.
Personally felt like the pork fried rice was dry with very little pork and the crab ragoon too sweet. The beef and broccoli was decent though. I kind of wish I just got a order of that because wasn't enough in the plate compared to the rice. I wouldn't visit this place again.

Saturday early evening ordered Vegetables Lo mein ! It was Very salty!! Cut back on salt for this dish! I had it many times before.. and was excellent! You’re using soy sauce that is salty, Anyway!! need not to addd salt!!

After seeing the high review results, I figured I’d give it a try vs the normal spots, gold bowl, Mai tais, jade, was sooo disappointed with most items. The teriyaki beef was by far the worst I’ve ever had except maybe in Florida. Absolutely tasteless. Size of skewers was good but taste was awful. Same with chicken fingers, very skinnny and meet inside was about as thick as a straw. Not good. General tsaos chicken was not bad, chicken fried rice not as well as the crab rangoons and spring rolls, all ok. But if your favorites are teriyaki and chicken fingers, don’t bother. Service for take out was good and was ready on time.

Gads down the best Chinese in the area. Food is always hot, fresh and their rice is far better than anything I’ve had elsewhere. Not sure how they season it but whatever, it’s delicious. Portions are generous and staff/family are very friendly. They also encourage reviews and feedback which speaks volumes. When I’m paying, there is no other Chinese restaurant getting my businesss lol.

Food is great here. Generous portions. Love how the fried rice isn't the usual soy sauce based kind that other takeout places have. Chicken fingers were nicely seasoned so you can eat them without the duck sauce. Egg rolls, delicious. Shrimp pad thai was loaded with shrimps too. Definitely will be back.
