Had a very good lunch at Rio Bravo today (first time dining here). At 1:30 on a Sunday, it was busy, but we were greeted immediately, and there was no wait for a table. I ordered the taco’s birria and they looked good!!! To be shocked by the lack of flavor, literally tasted like meat boiled in plain water. This is my third time trying taco’s birria and at all three different restaurant’s they had zero flavor. Is that normal? The loaded nachos with ground beef were absolutely delicious though. I highly recommend getting those.
This place has to be one of the most consistent places I visit. We have been there about a dozen times. The food is always fantastic and the drinks never disappoint. A little pointer for new visitors. If you're visiting to enjoy some drinks and food, order your drinks and let them come to the table before you order food. The food service is EXTREMELY fast! Even at their busiest the food service has beat our drinks to the table at times.
