It took 30 minutes for us to be served.When we told the food was overbaked and tasted so bitter and bad, the server and manager said that is how the food should be. Later, I found out that the server used my credit card to charge the other table. I needed to ask the manager to make the change myself.If you want to have an awful evening, this is the place.

This is a classy looking place. I enjoyed my first visit here, recommended by local colleagues. Nice selection of fresh oysters and mine were Canadian, delicious on the shell. My entree was cod with panco crust, nicely prepared and presented, delicious. I would definitely recommend this place. It was a fairly busy Saturday late afternoon, the restaurant seemed quite busy. We were seated very fast though, and our waiter was right with us. We were only there for their Clam Chowder so the food was brought out quickly. It was delicious, although it could have used more clam in it. $12 for a bowl of chowder is a bit pricey, especially since they could have been deeper bowls. The restaurant seems like it pulls in a trendy crowd.

First the good... The salad (can't remember the name but it had grain in the name) was delicious. My wife had a cod dish that was really good. The cheesecake was out of this world. The issue was with my chicken pot pie which the waiter said was amazing and also said someone that night told him it was by far the best chicken pot pie they ever had. The taste was good but the problem was there was maybe one ounce of tiny small pulled chicken pieces which was in three bites with two of the bites I barely noticed there being chicken in the bites and one bite where while it was still a tiny piece of chicken it was at least somewhat noticeable. Not only was it not the best pot pie I ever had, I would've been happier getting a pot pie from KFC and have $20 extra dollars in my pocket (actually $25 after tip which the tip alone would've paid for the KFC pot pie). Not only was there no chicken but the only other think in it besides the crust and sauce was potatoes and that they gave too much of. VERY VERY VERY disappointing. I actually wanted to give 2 stars but the fact that everything else was good I decided not to ding them too much even though the waiter should've offered something since it was beyond comprehension how they can call that chicken pot pie and charge $26 for it when there was almost no chicken.

If the food at a place is just ok, I avoid the cheesecake as this can often ruin the experience for me as I love cheesecake and it is often not great at restaurants. Well here it was great. A bit more caramel drizzle than I would have wanted but still the cheesecake itself tasted great.I don't know how often I will come here as it's a bit out of the way for me, but I will definitely keep it in mind when I'm nearby.

The managers and boys who brought our food were the best and only good part of our experience, they were super friendly and talkative with great personalities. The drinks were good as well as the oysters.The chefs clearly didn’t have a lick of pride in the food they served. Our waitress had an attitude and didn’t check in on us at all. They cut the sea scallops to bay size so you paid 36$ for 2 sea scallops and a SPREAD OUT half plate of gnocchi & shaved asparagus . The steak burger was well overcooked &mushy Brussel sprouts.One of the managers did take care of our first round of drinks and apologized, when I went over and talked to her, She was really nice. But we wouldn’t go back for that price especially since it ended up being over $300 with tax and tip.This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

Was really disappointed this time around. Had a great experience the last two times. Third time was not a charm. Food was stingy and blah. Not worth the price at all. Waitress charged us for extra drinks and was hanging out with friends at the bar most of the time. This time around was a huge turn off and not so sure we will be returning.

It was a fairly busy Saturday late afternoon, the restaurant seemed quite busy. We were seated very fast though, and our waiter was right with us. We were only there for their Clam Chowder so the food was brought out quickly.
