Just kind of meh. Not horrible, but not great. Balti was good, briyani was a massive disappointment. Aloo paratha was good, garlic naan was good. Sag paneer was bland. Probably would not eat here again.

Ordered saag paneer (made with mustard greens!), black dal and chapati. They have a wonderful way with spices - intense flavors, not your standard tastes. Unusual and very good.

I really enjoyed my dinner. The service was great, they were nice and very attentive. The food was so good. I’ve never had pineapple curry and wow was I surprised how great the sweet plus heat was. The music was at a nice level and it was very relaxing. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.

TERRIBLE Attitude!!
We were there to pickup a take-out order some days ago, but the woman at the front desk/cash register had such terrible attitude. Not sure if it was because Indians and non-Indians are treated differently like at some other Indian restaurants, or it's the usual trend at Masala Bay with everything.
When this restaurant opened years ago, loved getting food from there or dining in, even catered food for a handful of gatherings, but the quality has consistently taken a dip, from portions to taste to service.
Over a year ago when we had a take-out order, got sick from the Samosas (probably over-used/burnt oil). Thought we'd give it a try again and this time were disappointed by the attitude of the person at the register when we got there.

I ordered chicken biryani and shared with my husband. But biryani has no spice , it was tasteless. And the stuff was rude all the time. I kindly asked for my check, even though they bring all the tables,they asked me to pay at the counter. I think the reason was my order total was small and they think that they cant get a tip.
