Tavern in the Square

We go often as a group of 7-8 and they hit it out of the park every single time with drinks, quality of food and friendly staff... This time around one; of our friends had a medical emergency & the staff there could not have been more kind/helpful to the situation by providing support. All is well but THANK YOU to the managers & servers at Tavern in The Square in Littleton, for being there in a moments notice - you guys are appreciated.

Had the Chicken Avocado Club and the Steakhouse burger both delicious! Our server Andy was awesome!!

Great food! Great service. It's so nice they offer a smaller portion menu with some of the Favs!

The Service was good. The food came out in a timely manner and it was pretty good. I'm not sure if the tuna bowl is worth $25.00. Overall we like Tavern In the Square!

Our family of 8 came to Tavern for Fathers Day brunch. While it was quite crowded, we had reservations and were seated promptly. Everything was very good, we were happy with our decision to come to Tavern. Our server was particularly good.

Great spot about 15 minutes from Groton Hill Music Hall! We had a fantastic meal—everything was fresh and flavorful. The bang bang broccoli was a standout, perfectly crispy with just the right amount of kick. The chopped Greek salad was also excellent. A great choice for dinner before or after a show!

We were highly disappointed with the quality of the food. It was tbh disgusting. The sausages were over cooked and hard to chew. The French toast bites were tasteless and they forgot the cinnamon sugar on it. And we asked for salad to be substituted even with up charge and it did not happen. Loved the watermelon hibiscus mocktail The servers at the bar were very engaging and friendly along with being very attentive to our needs. We star outside on the high top which was pleasant.

My dining companion had a burger and I ordered the steak tips. Amazingly in this day and age, both were delivered to the table exactly as ordered burger rare and tips mid-rare. Too many kitchens no longer get this correct. Draft beer selection was excellent!

The food was delicious and the portions very generous. The waitperson was very helpful and responsive. They were ready for us even though we arrived about 15 minutes early.

I am gluten-sensitive and the staff was so patient and helpful when I was choosing what to eat. They have a very extensive selection of gluten- free options and everything was delicious! My 2 companions like their non-gluten-free choices as well.

We were early for a 12:30 reservation. The reservation said there was a strict 2-hour time limit for the table. Our food did not arrive until 1:30. Ridiculous. Get rid of the time limit or make it longer.

We had a birthday to celebrate. Our original reservation via OpenTable was for 10, but 2 extra participated and the hostess team accomodated us with additional seating. Our group included a toddler. Emily K was our server and was WONDERFUL! She was friendly, attentive, and professional! We ordered a variety of apps and adult beverages to start. The nachos were good but not special, but the chicken wings (buffalo & parmesan garlic), pretzels, and buffalo cauliflower were very tasty. Entrees were all very good - burgers, fish taco's, general tso's chicken, salmon, kale crunch with steak, fish n' chips, grilled cheese.The waitstaff brought out a small cake with lit candle and started us, with help from the surrounding tables, in singing happy birthday. Great service for a family event!

Dietary restrictions: Our adult daughter has gluten and diary allergies. Emily and the kitchen staff were very cognizant of expectations and Emiy assured us of kitchen protocols to prevent cross-contamination. Much appreciated!

Kid-friendliness: Crayons and paper provided to help keep a 3-year old entertained. No issues with the fact that we occasionally had to walk her around to satisfy her curiosity of the restaurant - despite how busy they all were, the staff waved and said hello!

This is SO absurd. I called for a GENERAL request. They have me yes at the front terminal. And they took over 10 minutes to find someone when they can look at the menu in front of them. This is ABSURD. They do NOT train their staff for front of the house skills. They do NOT train their employees to answer the phone they said “what’s up” not a hello and that stuff SO unprofessional. I am SO sick and disgusted by their actions. Only go in person. This is so absurd. If you call you’ll be met with an unprofessional and disrespectful attitude.
