Overall a very nice dining experience, however, overpriced. For a small cup of coffee on my bill it was listed as $2.89 a cup. We were charged this four times. It wouldn't be so bad but the cups were very small 8 oz and to pay $2.89 for a cup of coffee. didn't sit right with me. I decided I would like to try some of their soup for take home. I was told the cup was $4.86 and the bigger one was $5.86 for something a little bigger than a cup. I understand these restaurants have to make money but these prices are ridiculous and The takeout portions were small for the price they were charging. The restaurant was nice and coean. As far as prices I feel they nickel and dime you, an 8 oz cup of coffee should not be $2.89. I had the bolognese pasta special. It was $15.99 for small lunch size portions. It was decent however there was more cheese than there was hamburg and traditionally bolognese sauces are very meaty. This was not, and I don't feel it was worth that price. Also, the waitress did not tally our bill that was left to us, which caused confusion as to how much was owed. I've never been to a restaurant where they don't tally the bill. Both are entrees were $15.99. X 2 - coffee 2.89 x4 This is how the bill was presented. As I mentioned it was a nice dining experience but we felt the prices were more than we wanted to pay for the portion size all the way around.

Restaurant scene is awesome. A little taste of the past. Waitress recommended the lasagna and it was on point! The lasagna was cheesy and the meat sauce was perfect. Go out and check out this gem.

I get food here at least once or twice a month, as a fun little dinner date. All the staff are super friendly and the food is consistently amazing.
The atmosphere cant be beat, and the service is incredible. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to get a good meal without breaking the bank

Needed to order a pizza on my way home from work, ordered the “white vegetable” as it looked delicious, I added chicken too and it exceeded my expectations! Will definitely be trying this place again. Perfect timing as well, it was ready in 20 minutes and I brought it home still hot!

We have started going to this lovely homespun restaurant in ludlow mass, and the experience has been overwhelmingly outstanding. Both with the quality of the food, and the customer service. Special commendations are in order for wait server Vickie who has waited on us the most, and provided us with outstanding customer care and attention. You will not find a waitress that excels greater in offering a dining out experience of pure professionalism like Vickie does . Special 5 stars also to co-waitress Casey, who provided our group with equal professional customer service on one of our recent visits there. If you want GREAT go there to dine. You'll never feel rushed or out of place in doing so, while eating delicious home-cooked meals.
