Evan’s Egg House is hands-down one of the best breakfast spots I’ve been to in a long time. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with that cozy, hometown diner feel that instantly makes you feel at ease. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do which goes a long way in creating a great experience.

As for the food… wow. The eggs are always cooked to perfection, and the menu has just the right mix of classic breakfast staples and creative options. I highly recommend the signature bacon hash sandwich or the big bills sandwich —they’re both packed with flavor and generously portioned. The coffee’s hot and strong, just like it should be. The creamers perfectly mix into my coffee.

Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or a lazy weekend brunch, Evan’s Egg House delivers. Great food, fair prices, and a local charm that’s hard to beat. Highly recommend!

We surprised our family and met them here! They were shocked to see us. My brother and I are the culprits.
The blueberry pancakes are huge and delicious! The staff members were awesome and friendly as well as the other patrons. We had a wonderful meal and visit in Ludlow. We'll definitely be going back for bfast again.

So incredibly mid, no idea why this place has such great reviews but it must be fake accounts or something. Expired creamers at the table that made my coffee look chunky, and when I told them it was expired they just brought me more expired creamers. Upon mentioning it the second time, they basically responded with “I know, but it’s all we got, and the other table over there was also complaining but it’s fine”.
Also, upon entering the restaurant before we even got a “hello/welcome” I was grilled about my water bottle and asked what it contained.
The food is overpriced for the tiniest baby plate of food, and the thinnest pieces of bacon I’ve ever seen in my entire life.

Also, they charged us more for a dish than was stated, and upon correcting it they said we’re the first to have caught the error in months, and muttered something about “don’t want people to think we’re scamming them”. Something about this lady’s tone gave me the feeling that they were trying to scam people.

1/10. Avoid

Not really a review, as much as a comment. Why closed on a Wednesday and Thursday?? Strange days. Not to mention strange to be closed 2 days a week in the first place. 😠

Closed an hour early for no apparent reason on a Sunday. I’m reporting to Google Maps. We went out of our way to stop here on a road trip.

We were offered drinks as soon as we were seated and given menus. The wait staff were friendly and the food came out within 10 to 15 minutes. The food was very good and the over easy eggs were cooked to perfection with the whites cooked through and the yolks runny.

A no frill but yummy breakfast joint. The menu is pretty standard for a breakfast spot and everything was as expected if not better. Good prices too! I really appreciated how attentive and welcoming the waitstaff was. I will definitely be coming back.
