I ordered a variety of things from this location to share with my family. We were so excited. Its all so inedible. Some tasted so old, rancid ingredients. I don't understand why everything was bad? Even the powdered sugar on the Bismarck had a chemical taste to it, like soap. We threw it all away. $32.05 down the toilet.

Me and my family love the Ludlow Bakery!! Staff is beyond sweet. Since there are so many options, I always take my time. The portugese rolls and cannolis are delicious! And my son LOVES the cookie monster cupcake!

What a disappointment. Placed an order for work and included in that order I placed was cannolis. Was never notified that they were out until after the driver already picked up the order. Not very good service at all!!! The raspberry danish twist was hard as a rock. Blueberry muffin very dry. I do not recommend them. However, I do recommend Tandem Bagel.

This is the second time I've tried something from there and both times they have been a little stale. The first was a couple weeks ago, an M&M cookie. Today was a cupcake, again stale. The cake part was pretty dry and hard but the icing was soft and delicious.
I understand it's a small bakery and not a ton of movement. With the taste that the stale cookie and cupcakes have, I bet fresh would be amazing.
I'll start asking what was made fresh that day. Or just have made to order for parties or special occasions.

Ordered 4 different pastries to try out today, I got a chocolate cupcake that had ROCK hard frosting and very stale cake, 2 slices of chocolate layered cake that also had rock hard frosting and extremely dry stale sponge, and a pastry filled with whip cream that was also stale. It was as if they left all of the food out for an entire week because no one bought it. This is not a fresh daily bakery. What a shame, I will not be returning.
