This restaurant is genuinely unimpressive. The food is average…I guess unless you order the couple traditional portuguese dishes. But the menu is boring besides that. We weren’t sure if we could trust a random restaurant to serve fresh seafood so we tried to make safer choices…apparently the wrong move.The ambiance is bad. It feels like a dive bar. The entry room was un-decorated, tables not set up. I was almost unsure we were in the right place. There was no hostess stand, no hostess to greet you or tell you where to go. If you didn’t happen upon a server as you enter the building, you’re kind of left standing there. It was awkward. There is a dining patio but it overlooks none but a few flower vases and the parking lot.

I've gone about five times and all five times the food has been pretty good, the one thing that stands out is that their consistent. Got the house steak, it was pretty good , not outstanding but for the price you can't touch it. All 5 time the girls working were very polite and outgoing. Also noticed a lot of the fellow customers knew each other. Nice Portuguese feel to the place

Mill’s Tavern is one of the few places you can get a truly authentic Portuguese meal. The owner Paul takes passion in his business and the food. His food is always cooked to perfection and priced reasonably. The staff is knowledgeable and able to accommodate any request or question you have. I recommend to try any of the daily specials when you visit!

Great place all around. I have been there with friends for dinner, with my kids for dinner/lunch. We have even had them host the after party for my sons baptism in their very nice private function area. Food and service has always been top notch !

Ordered a burger medium well. I got a very well-done burger with a water bun that sat way too long. Waitress never came to ask us how the food was.won't come back again..

I used to love this restaurant. In fact last year I had a company party there and everyone enjoyed the event, the food and service. After that each time I went to the restaurant the food was not great and the experience very poor. Cold food bad preparation, etc. Today my wife talked me into going again... Bad decision. The service was worse, food just as bad and none of us will be going back. To top off the night some decided to play the juke box which was blaring loud. I feel bad for Paul since the restaurant had so much potential.
