We went to Donnelly's last night for the St Patrick's Day celebration. We have always enjoyed going there but I have to say, it was an amazingly good time. We were in the back room with a whole lot of others, all with reservations around the same time. John and his staff were unbelievable! The food was piping hot and delicious. The servers were a step above, bringing drinks, taking orders and making everyone feel right at home. There were lots of children running around...
Lived in the area for a few years. I've driven by a million times and never stopped in. A good friend of mine who is a regular their convinced me to stop in for last call and I'm happy I did! Arriving so late I assumed I'd receive the usual last call parton treatment but the bar tender was so nice and inviting! Great bar, great experience. Can't wait to go back and try the food.
We had the best St. Patrick's Day! Thank you for creating a fun and festive atmosphere. The food was delicious, especially the beef pie and corned beef and cabbage. We will definitely be back!
