The oysters were not shucked properly-all stuck to the shell. Even if it was National oyster day and you were selling a lot of them, you still have to entice people to come back for them when not on sale. The shrimp scampi was skimpy, not very flavorful and light on the pasta. Shrimp was cooked too much. A very small dish for too much money. I expected and have had better elsewhere for less.
Lobster rolls and clam chowder were delicious. Salads and drinks were great. Only disappointment was I ordered the lobster tail on top of my salad and it was tiny. Just a little over the size of a large shrimp.
We recently ate at this restaurant, and overall, it was a good experience. The waitstaff was polite, though our server seemed a little nervous—like he was trying too hard—but nothing that took away from the meal. The restaurant has that modern industrial look, which some people really like. The noise level was totally acceptable; we could talk without shouting. The food was the highlight: I had the stuffed haddock, and it was excellent—cooked perfectly and full of flavor....
