Tasty Korean food with lots of choices in Malden. Highly recommend the spicy kimchi fried rice and the jajangmyeon 😋 The male staff who served us was super friendly and attentive

We got takeout from here; spicy pork bimbim bab, cheese tteok bokki, haemul pa jeon, and chicken fried rice. All of the food was so good! The tteok bokki was nice and spicy. The fried rice was flavorful.

Overall really great! Favorites were tteokbokki with a super delicious sauce and ttukbaegi bulgolgi, warm and deeply satisfying on a rainy night. Bibimbap was very good with lots of veg. Pa jeon was just okay, a bit soft for my taste. Simple atmosphere, some nice k pop on in the background. Can’t wait to return and try more stuff!
Edit: been back many times since this review. Still a great place. Fried chicken, top notch, always worth ordering. Tonight I visited and tried jjamppong which was excellent. The people who work here are also always super friendly and way more attentive than expected. I never regret a visit to BAB.

We came here for lunch on a Saturday. Only one other customer, but a lot of takeouts.
We went for four different kinds of dishes, noodles with pork belly sauce, seafood noodle soup, chicken fried rice and Tofu soup. All very decent.

Got the seafood tofu soup. Not fresh and threw up for 6 hours the next day. Absolutely do not eat here.
Quality of chicken is mediocre

Small takeout spot that serves Korean staples. I really wanted to enjoy this place. We ordered the S5 (ox bone soup) and the S7 (spicy shredded beef soup). The ox bone soup had a huge portion of beef and wasI flavorful. The spicy shredded beef soup was barely spicy, and frankly tasted like boiled water. It had no flavor and was only saved by the addition of kimchi and radish. Not a fan. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be that bland but it was not enjoyable. Definitely better to get it extra spicy.

Ordered on uber eats. Genuinely some of the worst Korean bbq I’ve ever had. Food tasted like ash and we ended up ordering somewhere else.

I love bab, and have been going there regularly for a while almost always order the same but the last 3 times the kkapunggi chicken has tasted weird like if it was old chicken that was re cooked and it's been extremely tough. They are putting way too much batter but very little chicken, the first time I thought it was because I had leftovers and I reheated it, the 2nd time I noticed it right after I picked up, this last time the chicken even looked bad, like steal if that makes sense.
It's sad cause it was amazing all the time.

I ordered the veggie bimibap, for take out and it was delicious with fresh tasting vegetables and a jammy fried egg 🍳 I especially loved the mushrooms, and the side of pickles and kimchi.
Rice portion was quite large so this dish could easily be shared between two people.
Will definitely come back again! :)
