They no longer make their vegetable dumplings. So sad. Tears. I feel bad leaving such a mediocre review over an appetizer that I clearly wasn't eating enough of in order for them to keep it on the menu, but I don't know how else to express my disappointment. As a vegetarian, its difficult to find good dumplings that taste both fresh and hearty and not like they were knocking about the freezer for an eternity. I like the mushroom salad and cucumber salad, but those are both things I can easily make at home. The rest of their menu is pretty typical in quality and selection as many other Asian-American restaurants, and without the lure of veggie dumplings, I'm not compelled to go out of my way to eat here. That being said, they do have a lot of cocktails that are visually stunning or elaborate in presentation which fill me with childlike delight. Service has always been friendly and quick. Go here for fun drinks, and if you're the kind of person who likes to let the camera eat first.

The staff was very attentive the food was amazing overall a great dine in experience.
Canned music was so loud that we had to shout to be heard across the table. Repeated requested to lower the volume were ignored.

Great food
I have been here a few times now, gotten a fee different dishes and have enjoyed every one. I will be back often. Only suggestion I would have for them is to cut the beef thinner in the beef dishes
The mapo tofu with pork has been my favorite dish so far

Came here for my 1st time. Got a drink, mediocre at best. Got the crab rangoons. They were great! Got the little dumplings. Those were bomb! Got the house fried rice, holy 🧂 salt!!! Simmer down on sodium! thy Husband got the flying noodles. 😑 meh. I got the steak and peppers. The sauce just thrown on either packaged noodles or premade where the sauce just covered the noodles not well incorporated. More for pics. Then they take the dry ice that made the pic cool away. Short lived.
Not a single time I’ve picked up an order from this restaurant has it been ready on time. Unless you want to waste 10+ minutes every pickup, I’d recommend avoiding orders from here.
The food was very good well seasoned server was ok working alone so wasn't very attentive

They served a generous amount of food but I didn’t like the sauce in the food and it was too spicy and salty for me.

I’m not trying to be a hater but this place is so overrated, I was so excited to go but was so disappointed when we got there 😭 The restaurant itself is so under decorated inside, the videos I’ve seen give off such a different vibe. Food was just okay and so was service. Not worth the hype unfortunately. I will say they did have some good music playing though.

Great food, good service. A little loud (they can't control that I know.) A lot of moving lights, pointed all directions and moving at different speeds was distracting for me.
Reiterate the food was great. Ifyire looking for a more energetic night out this is perfect.

The food is excellent and varied, from noodle and rice dishes to the less-seen (outside of weekend dim sum menus) delicately steamed or pan fried bao (dumplings), filled with shrimp, pork, or beef. As for drinks, though, their repertoire is limited to those listed on the menu (but they’re yummy and come with a whimsical rubber ducky or rubber pink pig floating on top); one young member of our party asked for a Zombie and our server just looked at him blankly, as though she’d never heard of this cocktail. The service was extremely attentive and quick in spite of the fact that the indoor space is very small (and we were a large group of 12 diners). The cramped space and the extremely loud music is the reason I give District Kitchen only 4 stars - but note that I’m an older adult! :) There was an outdoor patio but no one was seated out there while our party was there from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. I think the very contemporary open kitchen, upbeat music, and intimate space and lighting are perfect for a young adult date night or small friend group outing!
