THE HOTTER, BETTER COUSIN OF KAJU TOFU HOUSEUpdated ( I sincerely have to give 1 star because I found this in my kimchi pancake)One of the best korean dishes I have ever had, this is also counting the food I have tried in South Korea. Employees work over here are super friendly and attentive, food come out super fast and boy oh boy was it so gooood !!! Compare to the soup I ate in Kaju ( have to compare cause they basically the same and Kaju previous owner opened Emone Tofu), Emone Tofu is better, the soup, the tofu and the protein, everything. Oh and big plus is that it’s been 5 hours from the lunch now I still feel good. Only thing is that it’s far from the T and there’s a limit on parking space.I love this place :D
If I could give a 0 star, I would. I can go home and make these dishes in 10 min. The pork belly is chewy and bland. The ribs are over cooked . The side dishes are a joke and looks old. Totally disappointment. Don’t waste your money here.
Tofu soup and bibimbop were not authentic at all. Soup was flavorless (when did mild spicy mean NO pepper flakes?! It was almost white in color...) and ingredients felt skimped. The meat in the bibimbop was so dry and why are there bell peppers in bibimbop?! I don't think a Korean person made this food and I'm disappointed at the taste. The price is super high too... Never going back.
The WORST Korean restaurant I’ve ever visited. The pork belly is basically pieces of fat, and very thick. The taste of other dishes is also mediocre, however the price is quite high, the pork belly is $24.99.
We came at an off peak time, late lunch, early dinner so there was no wait. We were loud and had an infant with us and the server was very accommodating and understanding. The food was very good portions to share. There were 4 of us and we had leftovers. We got the seafood Tofu soup and it came out bubbling hot. If you want to put the egg in there, you have to crack it in right when the soup comes out if you want the egg to cook. There are different spicy levels for the soup - we went with medium spicy and that was good enough where you can taste the flavors in the soup along with a slight kick. The noodles were very flavorful and very large portion.
Terrible. Soup was very watered down, the mushroom soup tastes like straight up soaking water for the mushrooms (probably because they didn’t actually soak and wash the mushrooms). Worst of all, there was a piece of plastic in my soup and it cut my mouth!! I would give negative if I could. Avoid for your own safety.
Brought my grandson and his girl. We all got Bibimbap and it was terrible. The atmosphere was cold, service terrible and food barely edible. Will not return.
We ordered a vegetarian tofu soup and kimchi oyster tofu soup. The tofu soups we thought tasted really good, but the side dishes were pretty tasteless. The rice was fine, it wasn't undercooked or overcooked. The tteokbokki with cheese and ramen was good, but it wasn't anything special. There was no music playing so it felt really awkward. There was only one guy out front doing all the work. Despite being so busy, he took the time to ask how our food was. The tables were awkwardly very large, and there could have been much more work done to improve the interior design of the place. The food was okay but not sure if I'd come back.
This place used to be my favorite for Korean food but recently the quality has gone down significantly. The last time we visited unfortunately the appetizers didn’t taste fresh, the soup was less flavorful, and the rice was undercooked. I’ll wait a bit before coming back.
So heartbreaking. The Korean owner had sold this restaurant. The food is not good as the old time. The recipes have changed. The chefs have changed. I came to this restaurant at least once a week before COVID happened. The owner and the Korean waitress knew me. I’m so sad the restaurant is not the same one.

The biggest issue was that everything tasted off, as if it had gone bad. Most shocking was how bad the shiitake mushrooms were. Like those cook themselves, you don't really need to do much to them for them to taste good. Side dishes were ok, not amazing, but you could pull those out of a jar. Price point wasn't great for what I got also. Total was $16 before tip. I did get my order pretty quickly though, for better or worse. 5 minutes.
There food is amazing! I was missing there tofu dumpling soup and pork belly all during quarantine! It was great to be able to eat there again. There soups you can get as spicy or as non-spicy as you can handle.
I am gonna be honest, since the name of this place has 'Tofu' in it, I thought they would have some great tofu. I ordered the tofu rice (bibimap as for tofu instead of meat) and paid around $17. Man it was so tasteless, the rice, a very ordinary plain tofu on top and some veggies in the rice, no salt, nothing. I had to mix the sauces to swallow it.
Galbi is legit, so tender; stone pots are also very good!
The tofu spicy soup is amazing! Good prices and very nice staff.
