Service is bad. They didn't welcome us nor provided an explanation of how their different services work, they assumed we were there for the hotpot so no sushi menu was provided, just when we asked 15 minutes after waiting. Then they brought 1 menu for 4 people, throwing it into the table without any interaction. And service still expects a tip? 😔 Food was ok but not good enough to forget the service experience. I would only recommend it if you are one of those who like to pay for your food and the salary of the servers with no reason for it.

Ibasaw screwed up my Ordered Uber Eats: 2 for 1 special spicy tuna maki, delivered only 1 plain (not spicy) tuna maki, doubled (2 for 1) saki maki (salmon) instead (cheaper) which I ordered for my friend who doesn’t like spicy, and this maki tasted musty, like old rice. Disgusting. Everything else delivered but then next day, I was charged TWICE: original authorization to card, plus final charge (including tax, tip). So now, not only was food NOT worth $$$ (you can find fresher, better at grocery store or gas station sushi) BUT now I have to contact my bank to dispute charges, and raise issue with charges on Uber Eats. Do not recommend.

Whenever we’re craving Shabu hot pot, we always come to Ibasaw, it’s just around the corner from our house.

We’ve recommended this place to many of our friends who are looking for a great Shabu spot with reasonable prices and excellent quality.

Ibasaw offers an all-you-can-eat Japanese-style hot pot buffet with a wide variety of ingredients to choose from - beef, pork, chicken, and even seafood. The vegetable options are also fresh and plentiful. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a homely vibe that makes us feel comfortable every time we visit.

It’s definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Malden!

I am traveling with my service animal, and sometimes places can be a little difficult, but they were very accommodating, and they had amazing food! I was pleased with how small the dishes were so you can order a whole bunch of options without having to worry about wasting (and if that's not your cup of tea it's all you can eat so you can order extra) I have a white child's palate and they had some options for me but they had so many cool things on the menu I wasn't brave enough to try, but I love seeing all the options, and I heard around the place all good things.

I called around 10:30 PM after getting out of the gym in need of a huge sushi order. This was my first time ordering from here and I had a few questions on the menu & admittedly was a bit undecided. Terry was wonderful!!!! He made some great suggestions to help fit my dietary needs. Incredible customer service & when I walked in for pickup I was greeted with a smile. Absolutely amazing, seriously I sing their praises. 10/10 experience. I will absolutely be back.

At almost 11PM this place was still packed, great sign. The bathrooms were VERY clean & the atmosphere itself was very relaxing. Very happy with my decision. Prices were great, money well spent.

The total bill was unexpectedly $200 and the waitress was basically forcing us to pay for tip. My friend was already tipping $20 but she kept on insisting to add more and even asked for a $50 tip on my friends card until we got uncomfortable and gave her an extra $10. That was not okay.

All you can eat hot pot. They give you two hours, and provide prompt and generous portions. They have a wide variety of meats and veggies you can order and they have a sauce bar as well.

I visited a buffet hot pot restaurant in Malden, Boston, and had an amazing dining experience! For an average of $35 per person (before tax), you get access to a wide selection of seafood and high-quality beef and lamb. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the beef had an excellent texture and flavor. The variety of options and the freshness of the ingredients really stood out, making it a great place for anyone who loves hot pot. Highly recommended!

Love the place, simple, easy, and fresh ingredients.

I love the sauce station that have Pan Tai Suki Yaki sauce. Garlics and Chili are great to add on along with cilantro and lemon. (It would be nice to have lime juice ?). The traditional Sasha sauce is also available with Sriracha, Vinegar, and other things that really good as well.

Food comes out very quickly. I love squids and octopuses the most. Very fresh and tender. The portion is great and small which I like a lot so I can try more food too.

Service is alright on Sunday night but we were not in a rush so we don’t mind.

We enjoyed our time there a lot even we came a little later on Sunday night.

The price is a bit high comparing to surrounding Hot Pot Buffet near by. It is $35+ per person and kid is like $16+. But the quality is there so we don’t mind paying for it.
Honestly, if I want to eat hotpot I never care for price ?

The parking is huge and I can walk up to the restaurant door without parking far away. It is very convenient for family with small children or handicapped.

Bathroom is neat and clean and staffs are always there to help.

I definitely be back with more friends and family. Love your place. Keep up the good work, Bao Bao.

I’m honestly just writing this review because they had 666 when I looked up the place and it made me uncomfortable. Y’know, just trying to be safe. I’m sure the place is like decent maybe great/amazing even.

The meat quality was really good. I can't speak to the sushi as I went on Monday and the sushi bar was closed, but it is worth going to this place just for the hot pot. The hot pot was so good.

Their single portions are pretty big so make sure not to over order right off the bat.
The broth was tasty and the meat was good quality and had a good atmosphere.

Their sauce station was standard, but still good.
